ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something

April, I'm not on a yahoo group. I think that Nancy posted that she's on the CFS yahoo group where people are doing the simplified version of Yasko protocol. I'm on Yasko's parent discussion forum......its mostly parents of autistic children. The people on that forum are doing the full protocol....so they started with genetics....and many of them are getting... -

Yay....that is definately a good sign. I just made it through the most hectic work week of the year....fortunately I have lots of energy because I definately needed it the past few days! OMG people get CRAZY during the holidays! Customers had me all over the place.....especially yesterday. Today I was walking down one of the ailses and a little... -

I'm pretty sure your ammonia was low. I remember looking at your results because that was when I was really wanting to start understanding what it all means. I dont think I had my own results yet at that time....so I was looking at yours and trying to interpret them. I wasnt familiar with any of it at the time so I didnt get very far with my "interpretation... -

I dont think that any one supplement opens up the pathway...so I havent read anything that would indicate that yucca unblocks anything. Its more of a support that is used to aid in detoxification. There are lots of supplements that are used to help regain proper function of the methylation cycle....and to support it. It seems like most people take small... -

Rinne...its good to know that you're doing well...hope you have a great Thanksgiving!! Sounds like you learned that running a restaurant wasnt your calling......I think its probably because you're suppossed to be a writer. Anyways, good to "see" you. -

A quick drive by to wish everyone a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! Its been a busy week at work....havent had much time to post but I will try to catch up later on. Have a great day everyone. Sherry, yes....I was tested for yucca root and it did not test well. With the genetics, often there are certain mutations that need to be addressed first and... -
Exactly. I might not believe that conventional methods are the best method of treatment for ME....but I know many people who do go that route and I dont put them down for making the decision that is best for THEM. In other words I'm supportive of any choice that a person makes with regards to their health issues (and that includes my loved ones...

I'm definately headed in that direction. I'm much better off than I was when I was seeing conventional docs. During that time my condition continued to deteriorate, I was unable to work and I was pretty non-functional (wasnt even able to drive). Today I'm fine in every way.....except still dealing with sensitivities to foods and chemicals. I've never...

I've had lots of experience with alternative testing and I found it to be very accurate and reliable for me. I have seen different doctors who use different methods of testing (applied kinesiology, autonomic response testing, BioSET as well as other EAV) and in all cases the results were very similar. I have never had conflicting info. from these tests and...

Sorry.....I just cant help but laugh out loud every time I read that. I truely do hope that he does SOMEDAY make good of his word. I understand that some people do not care either way.....however, there are MANY people who DO care and who were anxiously waiting for him to publish his research YEARS AGO. I think the decent thing for him to do...

See Dr. Fine?? I was not aware that he actually "sees" patients.....as far as I know he only sells tests but does not have follow-ups with the people who have purchased his tests. It is a personal decision on whether or not to buy the test....but not the same as making a decision to see a doctor. He is not treating patients and he does not really know...

Ok....I'm not sure if you are still reading mltjq.....but now that the board seems to be functioning again I will attempt to repost some of the info. that you requested. Sorry its taken this long. I do feel that the methylation cycle is an important piece of the puzzle for many who are dealing with impaired detoxification, heavy metals, bacteria... -

Yup.....you will hear NO complaints from me....and actually I kind of like being greeted by the COUCH as soon as I walk in the door. I think its pretty convenient...maybe we should keep it there permanantly. -

You have a great attitude Liya. Many of us have felt exactly as you describe. Just keep steering in the direction of all things good.....and I have no doubts that you will find your way. There are lots of great people here who will be happy to share their experiences with you.....you're definately not alone. -

The restoration work from the water damage is still underway. I cant even believe all of the measures being taken to prevent mold growth from occuring! I'm really pleased about it though.....even though we will not be able to have a Xmas tree here this year. They finally took out the fans a few hours ago....its going to take at least a month... -

Paula, I would start at very small doses, one at a time and wait at least 2 days before adding in something new. Paula {{{{{lots of hugs}}}}}. I'm sorry for your loss. Its definately harder to deal with symptoms (or anything really) when we're going through tough times. Feel better soon. No withdrawls for me because I... -

Welcome to the board! I think you will find that the IDS will not be very knowledgeable about Lyme. The vast majority of people dealing with chronic lyme are seeing LLMD's (Lyme Literate Medical Doctors). I also wanted to add that chronic Lyme is *never* just about Lyme....it is multifactorial and requires a doctor who is knowledgeable in all areas... -

I think I posted it because it was one of the pages that I was reading when I was looking into the PST enzyme/sulfation issues. I do think that in my case this enzyme/pathway is impaired. I use a cream.....but I dont make it myself....I use Kirkmans. Its actually the only thing that I've used for a long period of time and have not had any problems with. Its... -

Thanks Carla. I have alot of support so it keeps me from getting too frusterated and the people around me dont really allow me to get overly impatient with things. They keep me in check that way. I'm just motivated to study this new protocol I'm wanting to start and to hopefully start moving forward. Its been a really long time since I've actually... -

Ditto! Carla, sounds like the photons will be a good thing for the kids. My friend is going back to Germany today. I said my goodbye's this morning.....and no tears this time! Hi mltjq and welcome! I have alot of links that have been helpful to me as well as the DVD's and Yasko's book "Genetic Bypass". I tried to post the info. to the sources where I have gained the most knowledge about genetics/methylation......unfortunately the board went down for a period of time and the post was lost. I hate when that happens! I... -

Of all of the tests which were run the antigliadin IgG is least specific for Celiac Disease. This is why its important to know whether or not you are IgA deficient. If you are not producing sufficient IgA everything will come back negative even if you do have Celiac. If it is determined that you are IgA deficient the more specific tests can be ordered... -

I cant speak for anyone else, but I know that I have stated my reason for no longer having faith in Dr. Fine as well as his method of testing several times. I purchased his tests....so there WAS a time that I believed in them. I have since changed my mind.....after doing much research, after seeing many people continue to suffer despite Dr. Fine's claims...
