  1. Hi Little! Definately. I believe that Lyme (or any pathogen) will thrive in the areas of the body which are "weak"....or more toxic than other areas. For example, a person with mercury fillings may have more lyme in that area...particularly the jaw. The infections are not typically gonna set up housekeeping in the areas of your body which...
  2. LOL.....he corresponds with so many people I'm sure its hard to remember all the names.....AND he does have Lyme as a valid excuse for confusion! I'm glad you are still noticing improvement and no Lyme fatigue...YAY! What happens with me is that I end up reacting (same way I react to chemicals, foods, perfumes, etc.). I think because...
  3. Yup....I've been reading the blog...I'm so excited for you! I just couldnt get to your myspace....thanx for the email! MOST excellent Carla!! Its great to hear that you're feeling good over there.....and more consistenty! Yes....he is a very nice guy. I'm thinking of both of you and wishing for the best outcome......
  4. I thought that this was a pretty good article.... Open Original Shared Link
  5. Andrea....I forgot to tell you....I couldnt get to Carla's myspace. The link was a "lameadvertisement". Maybe if you email me the link it will work?? Anyways, I missed out on the pictures but I've been following the blog. If anyone is following the Germany treatments and is interested in reading Scott's blog (he just left Friday) let me know...
  6. Hi Mslee Glad you've found a safe diet thats helping you. Yes, all the doctors I've seen have been LLMD's.....well except for my "voodoo" doctors....who specialize more in the voodoo stuff. The doctors I see are treating things like Lyme, heavy metal toxicity, autism, etc. I havent really chose any of them based on the fact that they...
  7. Those enzymes are specifically for digesting the proteins only....gluten and casein especially. You will need additional enzymes for other things....whatever she recommended would be different from what you're taking now. Hi LittleLymie, I'm pretty sure alot of metals are excreted via stool....so you definately dont want to be consitpated...
  8. It sounds like you're well informed going into this. It looks like the dentist is following the IAOMT protocol which is good. As far as time frame for 12 amalgams.....that would really depend on how quickly your body can detox and how healthy you are going into this....among other things. If done quicker than your body can deal with....its definately...
  9. Dizziness/vertigo can be presenting symptoms of Lyme Disease for some people. If all else fails...its something else to consider.
  10. Sherry your post just reminded me to check my iodine! Its totally gone ....I suspect it only lasted between 2-3 hours. Last time I checked it had been about 2 hours and it was fading...getting pretty light. After that I forgot to check on it. I cant try it again for 4 days. Next time I'll have to put it right on my hand where its more visible since...
  11. Are there any studies that show that people who are gluten free (Celiac or not) do not EVER get these diseases?? I'm betting that people get these diseases sometimes...REGARDLESS. The gluten free diet doesnt guarantee that you wont ever develop colon cancer...or diabetes, etc. Also, I have gluten intolerance....and I dont have these diseases (as far...
  12. I'm assuming that you must have had symptoms which led you to have the food intolerance testing....and then to be tested for Celiac Disease? If you are now symptom free...(after having been diagnosed and after 4 months on the diet) I would probably consider that to be a sign that you are doing well on the diet and that you are healing. If you are concerned...
  13. I have seen people post with negative Enterolab results. I have not EVER seen anyone post that they were negative for genes with Enterolab. You either have Celiac genes, "gluten sensitivity" genes (not officially recognized) or one of each. According to Enterolab the vast majority of the population is genetically susceptible to gluten sensitivity. Having...
  14. Exactly! I've stated my opinion on this numerous times...but I dont think that he will publish....because I dont think that the tests will stand up to peer review. I think he is aware of this...or he would have published by now. That being said....I do hope that someday he proves me wrong and that there truelly is validity in this method of testing...
  15. Good advice Shay! We can learn alot from the experiences of others....but we should also take responsibility for our own health and do the research before taking someone's word for anything. I've had doctors in the past who were unwilling to order certain tests or who were dismissive of my concerns. I didnt waste time trying to convince them of anything...
  16. Does he normally handle food colorings ok? Red 40, Yellow 6, etc....and also BHA (preservative) can cause major problems for some people who are sensitive to these things. I'm not sure about polydextrose.
  17. SIgA = Secretory IgA
  18. This is sooooo true! It doesnt matter if you have the exact same condition.....people will respond very differently to the various treatment options. I agree that conventional doctors never think "outside the box"....if its not in their textbook...then it doesnt exist. Every person is unique. I dont believe that a specific protocol will work for everyone...
  19. If researching is causing more stress.....dont do it. You dont want to scare yourself. Dr. S. gave me that advice and it was good advice. Its good to research but not to the point where you're freaking yourself out.
  20. Paula...the exposure would over time weaken your body....so it could essentially lead to any type of problem. The mold might not directly cause blood in your stool.....but if your body is not in a healthy state (because you are overly toxic) then alot of things can happen as a result of your body not functioning like it would if it wasnt so burdened. It...
  21. I have to wonder about this since the majority of people who actually test positive for the disease (i.e. positive bloodwork and/or biopsy) DO have at least one of the main genes (DQ2 or DQ8). The percentage who do not have those genes is very small. Even if we recognize 100 genes as being involved in Celiac Disease here in the US....is it really going...
  22. Not necessarily.......you were using two different labs and noones ever proven that stool test results for gluten/casein antibodies are reproduceable. Even if you do this antibody stool test at the same time....but with two different labs....I doubt the results would be the same. They may be very different. Yes, the mold exposure can do alot of things...
  23. During my time on this board I've actually seen many posts in which the poster states that Enterolab has saved their life....or that they were undiagnosed before enterolab and the "diagnosis" saved their life, etc. I've also seen many posts that suggest traditional Celiac testing is not necessary (biopsy is invasive and bloodwork unreliable). Many posters...
  24. Thanks Andrea. I think she feels like when I get a little bit down that I might be giving up. Thats not even a possibility though...I'm so far from that....but yeah....I guess she needed to know that I'm definately NOT losing hope or anything close to that. She wanted me to see all of the positive things that are happening....and I do. ...
