ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something

I'm not positive about this but yes....I would think that the bleeding can be different. The fibrin causes blood to clot faster....so you wouldnt bleed as freely if your blood is thick and you cut yourself. I think this would be different from what occurs during that time of the month though. I dunno Carla knows more about that reproductive stuff than... -

Yes, there are different genes involved. The P-450 gene that seems to be most linked to MCS is CYP2D6. -

Paula, You're definately not alone.....its called hypercoagulation. We've had alot of discussions about it here. Its very common for people with chronic illness to also have thickened blood. It has to do with fibrin which the immune system can over produce when there are pathogens present....or toxins. The fibrin is the immune system's attempt to "wall... -

Can you treat the co-infections with it? Yeah....mold seems like a good one to start with! I'm glad that you got to do some ART while you were there. I had plans to have ART later on this month....but I'm thinking it might be better to wait until after I've been taking some of my supplements for at least a few weeks. That way we can see if anything... -

I'm betting that they arent looking at how well one person's body can handle this increase in toxic chemicals....compared to the next person. How can this be determined in a physical examination ......and what types of labwork are they running?? Obviously, impaired detoxification isnt something that they test for. Apparantly they dont even consider... -

Hi oldee. I do have a big heavy metal burden. My original post about corn was in early 2006.....so alot of discoveries about my health have been made since then. Mercury is a major immunosuppressant......its not surprising that symptoms appeared after having two big fillings placed. I'm glad you were finally able to get your Celiac diagnosis... -

Beef and peas?? Oh yeah....they've been a HUGE part of my diet the last year or so. Mostly the beef though....thats pretty much a constant. It has to be the organic grass fed stuff though. The peas come and go. I do eat other things here and there. I was eating brownies....TONS of them for a few months until they changed the ingredients. ... -

I agree with the poster who said it could be helpful if you have 5 different foods and arent sure which one is making you sick. It seems like it can clear up some of the "mystery" glutenings for some people. But does it work?? Thanks to Shay we should have that answer soon. I dont think they're afordable for most people to use on a regular basis... -

Yes.....it would be the root of everything because if you cant detox very well you are more susceptible to everything including toxicity, infections, chemical sensitivities, food intolerances, autoimmune disease, cancer and the list goes on. The reason I have chemical sensitivities and massive food sensitivites is because my body and elimination organs... -

Cool Shay!! I think thats the best way to come to a conclusion about any particular product.....try it out...see if it works. It will be interesting to see if the testing is accurate. I'm looking forward to hearing how it turns out. I dont use paper plates....if I did...I would probably test them myself. Either that or switch to the plastic... -

Its a blood test......I had my blood drawn at the doctors office for it. This next one I can do myself because they only require a pin prick. I'm ordering the kit myself. -

I was given ALOT more than ten RX's.......I'm not kidding my bathroom started to look like a freakin pharmacy!! Prior to that I never had ANYTHING medicinal in my bathroom. My "medicine cabinet" was for nail polish and other important things having nothing to do with treating symptoms .....but then again I never had anything to "treat". Those were... -

You get the genes from your parents...one chromosome from each parent. This is how the results look: - - = negative + - = positive + + = positive I had ++ on one of the P-450 genes I had + - on another The COMT gene was + - The NAT2 gene was + - The GSTM1 gene was absent (Glutathione s-transferase) There was a total of... -

I'm going to keep studying the methylation cycle so that hopefully I'm more familiar with it by the time I get the results of the genetic testing back. Its really hard to understand it.....Dr. P. said that even after 3 years of studying it he still has to refer to his manual on some things. I'm more familiar with the genes that will be tested next... -

HAHA...I have some competition for the monster posts now! Did I mention how happy I am that you decided to join us??!! Thanks Little. I hope I do start to move forward now....even if its just baby steps. I've been stuck in the same place for a long time now. I gotta tell you though....I'm REALLY scared about taking the supplements!... -

You cant change the genes but if you know where you're lacking you can do things to support that. For example, I'm missing one of the genes for glutathione conjugation....but Dr. P. said thats actually one of the easiest things to correct...because you just supplement the glutathione. It would have been GREAT to know these things BEFORE I got sick... -
ARCHIVED Questions About Leaky Gut
Rachel--24 replied to mslee's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
I just wanted to mention that I have had leaky gut for quite awhile now....I'm pretty much reactive to *everything* that goes in...but I have never had colored urine in all this time. Various shades of yellow...yes....but greens, pinks, or any other color I have never experienced. I have had colored stool though.....for example if I ate alot of chocolate... -

Oh...I forgot to mention that if we get "stuck" during treatment and if we arent getting anywhere he said he will have Dr. T. test me to help prioritize everything and to see what my body will accept. This is where it can be really useful to know exactly where the "blocks" are and where my body needs support....then she can just focus on those areas to... -

Thanks Paula. I'm pretty sure he has all the answers he wants....aside from having more genetic testing to see if there are more blocks in the methylation cycle. I dont think the urine test that I sent to France is of any great significance to him now. He was wanting to see if there was any indication of viral infections because it can cause... -

I'm not sure about the GSH...it kind of scares me because I test poorly for it. Hopefully after desensitization it will improve. Dr. P said it could have been the form....I do react to oral glutathione but that's to be expected with pretty much anything I take because of leaky gut. I took it transdermally (TD-DMPS) and it seemed like I reacted but its hard... -

I'm home from my appt.... I dont know exactly how I feel right now because I havent really had enough time to process everything yet. I can tell you this much....6 years later I have THE answer. There is no more wondering about any of it. Dr. P. truelly did have the answers in these last test results. I think I'm feeling extremely relieved....... -

Do you have to avoid EMF's the majority of the time you're there...or just for a period of time following the treatment? Here at my mom's we unplugged the computer for 24 hours after my LED treatments....but it was only once a week for 24 hours that we had to do that. EMF's would also reverse the LED treatments.
