  3. Oh FP, you do make me laugh! I could *never* wear steel toed boots with my coveralls and (I still prefer the flannel shirt)--it would be high heels that match my shirt colors. Black would do, but maybe a bright blue or for the holidays--red heels. Now that's a sporty outfit. (You probably did not think the heels through, eh?) Glad you didn...

  5. Hi My GFF's! Thank you so much for the kind and comforting words regarding my beloved GinGin...(The house is sooooo quiet without her) She was the one who snored, farted, coo'd, whacked her tail about, and was *constantly* by your side! We did the right and only thing to do--let her pass. We miss her tho.... Regarding the decision on NO CHEMICAL...
  6. Hi smplash! Welcome and glad you are here! Keep checking in when you can! It helps to get the constant support and care that this forum gives to all of it's members! It's hard to believe, but 2.5 weeks is a short time. Remember how long you have been eating gluten stuff.... I am sooooooo sorry you are so ill. I did not see any protein...
  7. Gotta Ski gave you a great easy recipe for homemade broth! I usually buy my favorite parts of the chicken (for me, thighs)--and I buy the family pack! I can cook some of the chicken for that night the way I like--in the oven, grilled, etc. and have some extra for the next days... The same night, I will take some of the thighs, breasts, or the carcass...
  8. Hi Takala! I so appreciate your understanding and kind words about my beloved dog...It is always a surprise it seems. That is "weird" meaning unusual--that both dogs could not eat wheat products! I believe your dog found the perfect owner to handle that problem though!
  9. Hi All, So, I am posting to my own post--(Is that politically correct to do??? ) Probably not! But....I am going to- Please bear with me! I am 99.9% certain that I am not going to do the chemical tests on NY's eve. First, my body is finally getting "cleared" or cleansed of the build-up that I have had for a long time. Yay! Second, with...
  10. Shadowicewolf you are soooo right! I wish, Brrrandy, you had someone to check you out! To rule out the "biggies" regarding your stomach pain!!!
  11. Hi Skittles! Hang in there...I totally understand about freaking out about what to eat! I too am very limited on foods as well. Like Ciamarie said, white rice versus brown rice affects me differently! White rice, chicken, and beef are my safe foods. A little broth (home made if possible) is great with the white rice. When I had my freeeeeeeek...
  12. Hi Brrrandy! I looked up appendicitus...Open Original Shared Link Here is a link that tells you symptoms--The appendix is not something to "discount"--medical attention is needed if you fit these symptoms! As we know--we get worried when we have symptoms that are unusual--Have you had similar pain like this before? Do you have a low grade fever?...
  13. Welcome ABQ! I too am sensitive to many foods--and have a short list that I can eat. After a bit of time--my tummy problems got much better, but it took awhile. I found that I was still eating foods that I shouldn't be, and that as I get better at knowing the "good foods" for me--my tum does much better. I agree that we all seem to be quite "sensitive...
  14. Hi all! Well, thank you for all of the info and ideas! I am going with the white plastic body suit that FPinDC suggested. Of course, I looked up one chemical and it is in plastic--so the body suit would definitly do a number on me! Plus, imagine the sweat from the plastic covering up my entire skin! Sounds like a nightmare... I already take...

  16. Hi! Yeah, wondering if I have lost my mind and headed for the funny farm ...My hubs said, you know you don't have to do the test... Which is true. But, I am still struggling with some rashes--yet I am doing better. I am just wondering if I am going to lose all of the progress I have made if I *DO* the freekin' chemical tests??? Plus the...
  17. Yes, I use the vanicream too--lotion, soap, etc...It definitely helps me too. Sorry that the fish oil made things worse Let's keep hanging in there and sharing what does work, though, yes? On this forum, we find out so much helpful info!!!
  18. Hi All and Good to hear from you too FPinDC! I really do think I am sooooo funny, yes?? Yes, regarding the chemicals--I guess I will have to become a "CaveWoman"--oh wait--no leather products...That won't do either Honestly, I am worried about the tests--One Anaphalactic reaction "recently" is enough for me! I already know I am allergic...
  19. Shadowicewolf--Hi! I have them on my shoulders, arms, elbows, legs, torso--hands, wrists too! Another thought to mull on...My Allergist is certain that I have allergies to Chemicals--I am going to do a chemical test on New Years Eve What a way to welcome in the New Year, eh?? The three most common chemicals that people have are in hair dye (which...
  20. Hi All! Yes, I get blisters, rashes, bumps and other skin issues too! I have been Gluten Free-etc. etc. and I too had been cc ing myself by using (Cetaphyl) Lotion--the soap works well--but the lotion has gluten... (I do not have any association with Cetaphyl products) The one thing that has helped me the most--is I started a gluten-free Fish Oil...
  21. Wow Gotta Ski! Histamines, eh? Very interesting! I too have to watch the sun/heat stuff. Rashes like crazy if I am sweating or in the sun too long. I blamed it on the AZ sun--maybe not though, eh??? Sorry you are having trouble with the lab testing I have personally not found labs to give me many answers tho--I hope you have better luck with...

  23. Hello my Wonderful gluten-free friends! Long time no talk! I am currently digesting on some new information from my allergist. After believing that I am extremely careful about what I eat (except for the occasional weekend alcohol beverage....) he has determined that I have still other allergies! So he wants me to do the "chemicals" patches on...
  24. A quick note...Soooo, dry eyes are part of all of this, eh? Wonderful I miss my contacts too! I too have worn them--but it was a "no go" from my Dr--she said maybe some day.... What exactly does some day mean??????? Fruit for being a co-winner sounds *marvelous* to me!!!!!! Enjoy! :D
