  2. This will make your life a little (well, a great deal) easier. Here is a listing of Companies who will clearly list all forms of gluten on their ingredient list. So, if you do not see wheat, rye, barley and malt on the ingredient list of these products, it just isn't in there and safe for people with Celiac. Open Original Shared Link

  8. Gluten is the protein found in several natural products. Corn gluten not related to the gluten found in wheat, rye, barley and malt, that we as people with Celiac react to. Corn gluten is ok to consume for Celiacs.

  16. Hi Kris, Yes, it's very normal to have mood swings and to be tempermental. Alot of this is due to the malabsorption due to Celiac. If you haven't already, start a good multivitamin and some sub lingual B-12 may help with the neuro issues. No need to feel alone, there are at least 20,000 of us on this site alone. The gluten free diet is a tough learn...
  17. Amy, These are the tests that are recommended. Anti-gliadin antibodies (AGA) both IgA and IgG Anti-endomysial antibodies (EMA) - IgA Anti-tissue transglutaminase antibodies (tTG) - IgA Total IgA level. The blood panel can rule Celiac IN, but it cannot rule it OUT. There is a level of inaccuracy in the blood test as well as the endoscopy...

  23. Sarah, When I was at my sickest with Celiac, I lost a great deal of weight. Much of the cushion I had on my arse and the cushion I had on the bottom of my feet was gone. I have gained my weight back, but my feet still have no padding, so in the evenings my feet hurt and it can be painful and my legs ache. I don't know if this is your situation, but...
