    Well give her response when I mentioned Celiac...she went out of the room to call the GI to see if he even did Celiac testing (small town)...I doubt she'll prescribe a medication she is unfamiliar with, she gave me a prescription for some type of shampoo, and IBS meds, I didn't go pick up either as I figure it's a waste and I don't want to take or use anything...

    Currently have severe outbreak of DH (my own self dx) on scalp, and face...waiting to see GI for testing on April 1st. Would asking NP for prescription of Dapsone actually provide any relief of the DH given I'm still consuming gluten?

    I have lymphedema, so yes I have lymph system issues, primarily in my legs. The nodes in my neck get swollen when I have DH break outs. And why yes I've had the under the arm enlarged tenderness issue many times in my life....

    When these breathing issue began a couple years ago I brought up to my PCP that in 2nd grade I was dx'd with Asthma but I was never given meds or inhaler as I really never had an asthma attack, I'd get short of breath after exertion but then again I weighed 125lbs in 2nd grade so of course the "fat kid" get short of breath after running or climbing stairs...

    I found an article questioning if screening for Celiac should be a part of the pre-op tests for WLS. I would have to say um YES, since it's only a blood test initially and maybe an endo and often an endo might be done pre-op anyway! I am very involved in the WLS community and will be VERY vocal about this, another reason I want my tests etc so I can show...

    I had bleeding 10+ years ago, bright red low blood levels doctor did a colonoscopy noted hemmoroids nothing else. After my WLS when I had more bleeding my WLS surgeon sent me to a rectal surgeon to be checked. I already know I am very low Vit D and B12 have been extra supplementing them since Jan. Actually Vit D since Oct just taking longer to increase.
