  1. I have MS and i sometimes get a sensation that goes down the back of my neck. It feels like when you get your reflexes checked. Like a buzzing electrical jolt. It's called L'Hermmittes sign i think. It happens especially if you bend your head forward.
  2. It was actually suggested to me awhile back when i was feeling nauseaus from getting glutened somehow to try eating some toast to settle my stomach!!! I said i can't eat that it will kill me! She said well i didn't think 1or2 pieces would bother you too much! That was my MOTHER! So frustrating dealing with people that just don't get it!
  3. So many great ideas from everyone. I feel like i finally have some options. I'm so tired of always eating the same thing. Thanks
  4. Thanks Jaimie for the advice and your thoughts. I have found a couple recipes for chinese food so if i want it that bad again i will try them. Thank you, Nancy:)
  5. I was extremely stupid last week and ate some chinese food. I broke out with a rash on my toes and ankles along with some blister type sores. It burned alot. I have had celiac disease for 8 mos.. Whenever i have been glutened i get the bloating, gas, headache, stomach ache and i have on going constipation. I know how stupid i was but i love chinese food and...
  6. My cycles have been all messed up. I'll have it one month normal then the next month i don't have it but i have all the symptoms. Next month i have two periods. I've read celiac messes with your cycles so i just try to deal with it. Just one more inconvenience of having issues with gluten. Haha
  7. I want to thank everyone who responded to my post i really appreciate all your feedback. I don't know anyone else with celiacs. Alot of the time i feel like people think i am exaggerating about how i don't want any food with gluten around me. Trying to explain that a simple crumb can make me sick. When food gets brought into the house like pizza by my teenage...
  8. You are all inspiring and i thank you for that. I have had MS for 26 years and Celiac for 8mos.. There is so much to learn about gluten. It all can be so overwhelming some days. Having one autoimmune disease was enough for me. No one ever told me that having one autoimmune disease put you at risk for developing more. So thank you for your posts they are all...
  9. I can definitly relate to what your talking about and it is very frustrating. It happened to me this morning. I had a cup of coffee like i always do with nothing different in it and within 30 min. i was all bloated with an aching in my stomach. I wish this was easier to deal with.
