  1. Thank you all for being so helpful. I had a great time during my trip. The places that I tried were the following: - Helmut NewCake - Delicious pastries and brunch. BEST gluten free eclairs. You will find classic french pastries here. - Noglu - A must try for both lunch and dinner. - Thank you my deer - Delicious sandwiches and muffins. - Pierre Sang...
  2. The husband and I are taking a trip to Paris soon. Are there any recommendations for us to try? Helmut Newcake and Noglu are on our list. Anything else? Also does anyone know the business hours for Helmut Newcake?
  3. I just confirmed all Gaviscon products are gluten free as of today. I do however, have an upset stomach from it so i guess this is a no go for me. Might be the sorbitol
  4. Thank you Laura. I tried the extra strength ones and the bottle says "may contain starch" but not specific. I will contact them today but i am having stomach cramps. Might be the sugar alcohols in it.
  5. Are they gluten free? I thought they were but accidentally I had reached the gaviscon.ca website and the U.S. website does not have the gluten free info available. I had them before bed today and am freaking out!!!
  6. Anjani, for me it turned out to be the trigger for mast cell issues. You can read up more on that on this forum. Search mast cell activation syndrome.
  7. It can definitely be a cause. I am sorry this happened to you. Please google "floxing" and you will read many stories of people injured by this drug. I have read supplementing with magnesium, especially Epsom salt baths and magnesium sprays, help people with tendon issues. I would strongly recommend reading up more on what to do to heal the damage caused...
  8. In addition to autoimmune issues, another thing that can cause this is "floxing". Have you taken any antibiotics in the cipro / Levaquin family before the issues started?

Has anyone dined here safely? I used to love their food before diagnosis but not sure how careful they really are.

    ARCHIVED Brgr?

I haven't eaten there but I live in NYC so if you try let me know
  14. I have been diagnosed with SIBO (methane type). My doctor prescribed Xifaxan but the manufacturer cannot tell me whether there is any gluten containing ingredients. This is not the typical response, no gluten ingredients used but we can't guarantee statement. This is we can only give you the list of ingredients and cannot tell you whether any of them is derived...
  15. Thank you cyclinglady and gluten-free Lover. I had some stomach pain but nothing too severe.
  16. I accidentally started eating a chip that was not gluten free. Realized the mistake and spit it out before I swallowed. Afterwards I brushed my teeth, flossed and rinsed several times. Can I be glutened even though I did not swallow the food? Having a very tough time recently due to antibiotic usage and some accidental cross contamination issues during holiday...
  17. Yay! Thank you! That is great news as I have been really craving some pumpkin ice cream. The ingredient list does not contain any gluteny items and they say this flavor is gluten free online. I asked because I have been very cautious of cross contamination risks recently as I have developed some additional health issues.
  18. Has anyone had luck with this brand? It says gluten free on their website but not on the package and they do have some gluten flavors.
  19. Thank you. I called Woodstock and their frozen fruit was processed in a gluten-free facility. will just stick with their product just to be safe. Hope this helps someone.
  20. According to an email from them their frozen peaches are gluten free but made in a facility where wheat is used (in a different area). Has anyone tried their frozen fruit before? Not sure if I should risk it.
  21. I was fine at Ted Montana grill as well as Tamayo. Don't eat the chips at Tamayo as the fryer is used for breaded items. Enjoy your trip! Edited to add: these are not fully gluten free places. Try Find Me Gluten Free app.
  22. Thank you all. I was referring to just plain canned corn and not creamed. I did not have an issue with it so worked out fine,
  23. Has anyone ever had an issue with Del Monte canned corn? Their website mentions that to the best of their knowledge the canned fruit and veggies are gluten free but want to make sure others have used them with no problems.
  24. Is there a way to tell MCAS apart from sulfite intolerance? I have been suffering from skin burning and redness these past few months (and chronic hives since my celiac diagnosis a year and a half ago) which were made worse by a bad reaction to antibiotics. Now my face and neck feel sunburnt when I have high histamine and high sulfite foods. Seems the lists...
