  1. Some people see improvement within a week. Some take six months to a year. I'd say six months. If you don't feel like you could commit to six months, I'd say at LEAST three. My symptoms went away within a week, but not everyone is like that. Nancy
  2. I'm not clear on how gastroparesis symptoms AREN'T symptoms of celiac? Maybe they aren't on the short list of classic symptoms. I'm not surewhat symptoms you have other than the feeling of fullness you mentioned, but according to a website I pulled up, these are some of the symptoms of gastroparesis. Abdominal pain Bloating Feeling of fullness...
  3. Odd behavior? I might have missed something..
  4. That's awesome. I'm glad it's going well. Nancy
  5. I heard that extra egg yolk(s) are supposed to help bind things together. One of our traditional Christmas cookie recipes uses 2 whole eggs and 6 egg yolks. It's like rolling out rubber bands. So you might want to try adding an extra egg yolk or two and see how that works. Nancy
  6. Or old guys with mullets, wearing socks and sandals.
  7. Keep us posted if you try it and don't get a reaction. I'd give my right arm about now for a decent conditioner. I use Pantene, but that stuff and my hair have never gotten along well. I've spent almost an hour at Ulta reading labels before, trying to find something. After a while you just give up. Nancy
  8. Adding on to my age... I want to know when exactly "Rocker Hair" turned into a "mullet" All the cool guys in high school had rocker hair. Vincent's went beyond rocker hair though. Looks nice short. Nancy
  9. I found a post from a while back that was asking about Manny's Corn Tortillas. Open Original Shared Link It's also on Hormel's gluten-free list - listed as Manny's Corn Tortillas. I wasn't able to find anything from anyone who mentioned them without it being a discussion about corn tortillas in the first place. I think it's just frustrating...
  10. Crap. That means I'm old too. I'm still waiting for perms to come back. In fact, I'm getting to the point where I'm so old I kinda don't care if they come back. I'm just sick of this flat hair thing. Nancy
  11. No sir.
  12. Use it wisely grasshopper. Nancy
  13. Yay!! Nancy
  14. Yea, chivalry is dead. (You knew I'd pull the poor, helpless maiden card...) Nancy
  15. Ba-dump-bump!
  16. Come on Paula! You must have some trivia about yourself. MrJerry has a lead on you. Nancy
  17. I don't think so. You might want to ask Scott about that though Paula. I'd hate to see you dropped back down to 0. Happygirl and Momma Goose both used to have different names, so they'd be able to tell you. Hey Jerry - I think you should change your name to TheJerry. Because really, what other Jerry is there? Nancy
  18. I usually just do a member search - up at the top of the page there's a little link that says members. Search for admin. Click on the name. Then that will give you a drop-down box. Third one down should say Send Message. There ya go! So what's your new name gonna be? Nancy
  19. You just have to send a PM to admin (Scott) and he'll be able to help you change your name. You guys are running neck and neck. This is very exciting.. Nancy
  20. I had negative blood tests and a negative biopsy. You may have a form of gluten intolerance that doesn't usually involve biopsy-positive intestinal damage, but involves neuro problems such as fibromyalgia. Problem is - no mainstream medical tests. You just have to try the diet and see what happens, which you already have. I also had fibromyalgia...
  21. I think you can put a custom phrase under your stats on the left of your posts - rather than Advanced Community Member, or whatever is there now. Not sure what else. Maybe we should create a list of demands. Nancy
  22. My father-in-law took early retirement from the phone company he worked for (also in IT) several years ago. He was able to pay off their house and take a few months off. He ended up working for a company that did short-term computer contracts. He even worked for Lockheed for a couple months. Nothing exciting, just fixing some admin stuff, but my husband...
  23. Jerry's only posted once in this thread... Paula's catching up!
  24. JerryK and confused are working to get up to the 500 post mark. So... Echoing duck quacks... Found this - ................................................................................. Open Original Shared Link Fortunately, we now have more than my personal experience to offer since an acoustic research experiment was...
  25. As far as I'm concerned, this part of finding safe products is MUCH more of a minefield than food. With food there are laws where they have to label pretty much everything. The laws aren't perfect and you have to confirm things like modified food starch and natural flavorings, but it's much better than the labeling on personal care products. Sometimes...
