  1. The chicken and rice soup is gluten free. Also progresso chicken and rice is gluten free Still, knowing before opening it and seeing the recall is helpful so I thought I would post it
  2. Heads up! Campbell's healthy choice chicken and rice soup is in a nationwide recall. It was mislabeled! It contains wheat! So far it's just the microwaveable kind but some say the canned version glutened them. Here's the link Open Original Shared Link
  3. How do they determine when to treat fibroids? My GYN says they are not bothersome but now I'm wondering
  4. I go back to my GYN in April to reasses. I get another pelvic ultrasound to look for any changes in the cyst or fibroids. So right now it's watch and wait. One if the cysts is filled with blood but it's small (2.2cm) so she's not overly concerned unless it gets bigger. I'm feeling better in terms of GI issues but dealing with heart and blood vessel stuff...
  5. The uterine stuff could be age or celiac. I'm 40 and just found uterine fibroids and endometrium cysts on my ovaries. Not fun!
  6. I have gum disease and osteopenia (diagnosed via bone scan). Dr has me taking 2000 iu of vit D hoping it will get better. My gums are bad, dentist said I had bone loss there too. I sure hope its revsersible because I don't want dentures! My hip often bothers me but xray ruled out fracture. I notice it gets worse in cold weather.
  7. I'm not looking forward to it. Yesterday I was just folding laundry and my heart rate jumped to 137 and I was short of breath and dizzy. Can't image how I'm going to feel on that treadmill! I'm going to do my best not to have nuclear though
  8. I had my adult onset asthma hit like a brick in 2012. Multiple rounds of prednisone, 1 hospitalization, and urgent care visits for oxygen and nebulizer treatments. They couldn't figure out why it hit so acutely and was so difficult to control. Hmmm I think I know why! It's been a huge thorn in my side. But 6 months gluten free and it's controlled! I'm now...
  9. I make my own. I have a huge glass jar of it in my pantry. I use a mix of rice flour, potato starch , tapioca, and xanthum gum I even made soft pretzels with this blend and they were yummy.
  10. Use the King Arthur gluten-free pancake mix and put coconut oil on the griddle. They brown like that for me and they taste really good!
  11. That was really helpful wow! I couldn't find any correlation. I've never had one in my life before this one and they are torture!
  12. Yes I'm still getting gurgling and mushy stools. Still getting abdominal pain off and on and when I pointed to where it hurt, he said that's the colon. I also get very swollen in the rectal area. But I also had that kidney stone with an infection so he just wants to make sure it's not related to the colon. I totally agree with the prep. I mentioned that...
  13. Do you think inflammation could have caused the kidney stone I had a few weeks ago too?
  14. Thank you! I'm trying to gain! My holter monitor results came back this morning. My heart gets as low as 44 and as high as 180 with a few skipped beats. Between episodes the monitor showed my heart beating at a normal 77. My pcp wants me to continue with the cardiologist and wants me to eat a diet of more salt. I'm also drinking a large Gatorade a day. ...
  15. Yeah my husband is pretty concerned. I'm currently finishing the cardiology work up and we will go from there. I called my Dr yesterday about the tingling but he was out. I'm sure he will call back today. It looks like it may be something with my nervous system since that regulates heart rate, breathing, blood pressure, and digestion. All of which have...
  16. They won't give me blood thinners because my blood pressure drops low and I feel faint. Just taking Motrin for the inflammation and elevating the leg. It's thrombophlebitis I guess only DVT needs blood thinners
  17. Most of you guys know what I've been struggling with. I was sent to ER yet again by my doctor because I've developed blood clots in my right leg. The doppler ultrasound showed they are in the superficial vein, ruled out DVT and sent me home. The last few weeks I get tingling in my fingers and my mouth/jaw. I can feel it through my teeth-very strange sensation...
  18. Good point Colleen!
  19. Huge weight! I was admitted in July for a severe attack and have been on numerous rounds of prednisone and had shots of prednisone. It was very hard to control.....we now know why. I never want to see prednisone again! I hope I never do
  20. For sure this can happen with steroid use. I'm thinking it may be part of my ongoing issues. I have been on oral steroids 5 times in the last 1 1/2 years plus had shots plus had it through my IV (my asthma was very bad and very difficult to control) after this cardiology testing is done, if it doesn't show anything, my GP is referring me to an endocrinologist...
  21. I had my cardiologist appointment today. I'm wearing a holter monitor but my blood pressure gets low while heart rate goes high upon standing. May have POTS but he doesn't want to say for sure until all testing is done. He also checked my magnesium levels. With the tachycardia that could explain the weight loss. If my heart is pumping at 145bpm it will...
  22. Ok thanks everyone. I think I'm going to make a batch of homemade tortillas. The gluten free ones I've tried are not good but homemade gluten free are yummy. Quesadillas were a lunch staple before diagnosis. I just need to get my energy back so I can make some stuff!
  23. Lol yep I've been eating pudding for dessert! Going to give some chocolate milk a try. I need to see how I tolerate the dairy
