Ms.Lisa's Achievements

  1. I need help with finding high protein smoothies/food for a 10 year old with celiac & dairy allergies. I need some ideas on things that taste good for a kid. She's very low on protein & if I can find pre-made smoothies that would be awesome! I would appreciate any advice. Thanks so much! Lisa
  2. I saw a neurologist for years due to bad migraines.Once I was diagnosed with celiac & went Gluten-Free I have not suffered from a migraine since. I don't think a neurologist would be able to help with celiac.
  3. I'm going to my first expo in Dallas. I am SO excited! I can't wait to eat things without having to read labels! Meeting all the food bloggers & others with celiac too! Thanks for sharing your experience. Oh, how did you post those pics on here cause I can't seem to figure that out?
  4. I'm a vegitarian but I do not eat any meat or fish. I only eat cheese so I'm practically vegan. I keep these on hand at all times for a quick grab. Ginnybakes & crunchiesfood are a great gluten-free vegan sweet snack. Pop chips are a great salty vegan snack too!
  5. Thank y'all for sharing! Nice to know I'm not alone. I can't wait till this gluten leaves my body so this problem will disappear:)

Could the palpitation have anything to do with that? I went to a heart doc & was told I have MVP & I have to wear a heart monitor for a month:( I only...
  7. Steamed Cabbage, broccoli & carrots wrapped in a corn tortilla. Yum!
  8. I bake the potatoes in the oven till its soft inside & crispy outside. Refrigerate overnight makes it easy to slice. Taste really good!
  9. I am gluten-free vegetarian. Open Original Shared Link I bake 5 potatoes then put them in the refrigerator, each day I slice one potato into chip size, spray with Kelapo (coconut oil spray) add salt & toast each side & it makes perfect chips for the day & it's cheap:) I have lots of inexpensive ideas:) Hope this helps
  10. Yes, I have the very same reactions.Last week I went to see my doc & every time she tells me "you are way to thin, you have to gain some weight!". So, I came home & started eating gluten food (crossing my fingers for no bad reactions) I had two meals & I went down hard with all the symptoms you have:( I also had a new reaction come up, 1 ulcers...
