    My husband has Celiac and he has been on the gluten-free diet for about 2 1/2 months now and he also gets nausea and upset stomach after eating. We are very careful and have a gluten-free house so I'm assuming its all part of the Celiac.     Yes Mayo is gluten free and dairy free. My husband liked the Hellmans but Kraft is also gluten-free/cf. He is now doing a gluten-free/cf/sf diet so we had to ditch the regular Hellmans but today I found that Hellmans has a Canola Mayo (no soy) .     My husband had a positive biopsy and negative bloodwork. He also had the biopsy done first and the bloodwork done later. We also followed up with the test kit from Enterolabs and he showed positive fecal antigliadin antibodies and had 1 Celiac gene DQ2 and 1 Gluten Sensitive gene DQ1.     I have been buying the Alpo in a can. Its the Filet Mignon flavor (this is the only flavor that I've found to be gluten free) and my dog loves it (if you don't mind messing with the canned food). It comes with a pop top so you don't need a can opener and it ranges between 40 - 48 cents per can. My dog eats one can a day. Jennifer

    I purchased this same product for my husband and I noticed that it said wheat free not gluten free also. I called the company and asked them before he took it and they said it was definately gluten free but they had the typical disclaimer to read to me.     My husband was glutened about 2 weeks ago now and he is still having stomach pains and feeling bad. He has had a few good days also where we thought he was just about over it and then he gets hit with waves of nausea (and sometimes that is staying for hours), back and forth w/ D & C, stomach cramps that wake him up or double him over, and a lot of burping...

    Nantzie - I believe your right about the pepto. I think that was the problem with the color of the stool. He had been using it a couple of times a day for about a week.     My husband got glutened about a week & a half ago and he is still feeling terrible. Almost worse now than in the begining. I've been trying to keep track of everything he's been eating to see if its something else thats contaminated or causing the problem.     My husband gets very cold also. Especially his feet but I have noticed lately with the weather being cooler that he is can't seem to stay warm enough. His thyroid was tested and is normal so I'm assuming its just all part of the Celiac package. Jennifer

    My husband (he's the one with Celiac) had his gall bladder out in August of 2005. He did not have stones but his was not functioning. He had less than 10% function rate.     How long did it take for you to notice a boost from the B12 injections? Shane is only getting them once every two weeks. They wanted to do them once a week but as I said we live 8 hours from this doctor (we are in the process of moving to his area) so we are only able to fit them in every 2 weeks at this point.     I use Crisco Shortening Sticks - Regular or Butter Flavor. Neither contain gluten or casein. I verified this on the Delfi List.     There are a couple of brands of canned dog food you can get at like Wal Mart or Publix. One brand is Alpo - not all of the flavors are gluten free but there are a few - I believe one is called Filet Mignon. Also the canned Ol'Roy has a few flavors that are gluten free and also the canned Iams is gluten free. Were did you get the gluten free bird food?...

    Hi Beverly. I have hypothyroid but I do not have Celiac (just to be clear on that point - my husband has the Celiac) but I thought I could offer my experience with thyroids.     Don't give up. I know its frustrating but it will get better. My husband has been sick for months and we were going thru the same thing as you going from doctor to doctor and test to test.     My husband gets the gas build up but he is constantly belching. Do any of you belch a lot from the gas? I guess I shouldn't complain because at least I can walk into the bedroom when he's belching. Jennifer

    I can't really compare the ones I made to regular ones because I used the dairy free version. The regular version called for buttermilk I believe but I'm not sure.     I just made the 123 Gluten Free biscuits also. My husband and son loved them also. They weren't hard to make either. I had to make the dairy free version because hubbie is casein intolerant. I also froze the extras and pull out what I need each nite. Works great. I'm getting ready to order more. The brownies were great also. Jennifer

    I have been buying Progresso soups for my hubbie. Not all of thier soups are gluten free but they do clearly list all ingredients on the label. I have not bought or checked the cream of chicken soup though. Jennifer

    My husband did testing thru Entrolabs and it went very smoothly. We rec'd the test kit by regular mail in about 4 days from placing the order. Returned it overnight mail with the DHL currier service that picks it up at your door. The instruction sheet said it would take about 3 weeks to get the results back and at 1 week and 5 days I sent an email to them...

    My husband gets loud gurgling sounds also but its from the gas in his stomach. He is constantly belching (although it is getting better). If you are giving in to the hunger and eating gluten pretzels or anything else that has gluten you need to be better prepared with snacks and meals.
