  1. I keep a food journal as well, but I definitely like your color coded system. (Right now I just use smiley/sad faces to distinguish between good and bad days).
  2. I researched the Paleo diet a couple of years ago before deciding upon the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. I think most of us agree that no one diet is perfect for everyone. For me, the SCD was a turning point in my life. The problem for me with all of these diets was sticking with them, because often, I would see no improvement in symptoms and get discouraged...
  3. I can totally sympathize with everyone on this issue. Being sick at work has plagued me for the past several years. The episodes became more frequent and severe, though I still maintained an almost perfect attendance record somehow. Luckily, I have a cubicle job that allows me to disappear for big chunks of time to the bathroom without anyone noticing...

  6. Hi bobcatgirl- I live in Atlanta and run a website about the city, and I think we are out of luck when it comes to dedicated gluten-free restaurants here. As you already mentioned, totally gluten-free places in NYC are still rare, and it will probably take Atlanta awhile to catch up. I write restaurant reviews as part of my freelance writing career...
