I've been to Akel's and it was wonderful! They didn't even charge more than the rest of the meals for ours! Landshark Bar and Grill also has gluten free buns and a separate fryer for the tots and fries! I am a HUGE Myrtle lover and it's been nice to find some options there! -

I don't trust any of these big pizza chains that claim they make gluten free pizza. In my grocery store here in Western Maryland, I have TONS of frozen gluten free pizzas to choose from in the Organic/Gluten free isles. Against the Grain has a premade gluten-free pizza and it's the best one I've ever had. We get it a lot in my household. -

She is already in daycare but still only having formula while there. She already has been determined to have a diary intolerance and has been on soy formula since she was about 3 weeks old. Thanks guys! I guess i'll do some more research! -

For me in the beginning, I ate whole foods like meat, veggies, eggs, fruit and cheese (assuming no other allergies). This helped me heal and not have to worry about labels. Everyone else has said it pretty well. I found out in my mid-20's... I know, not my teens, but it was still REALLY hard on me to sit around while everyone ate bread and pies while I couldn't. Wow! This post sounds a lot like my pre Celiac days. I got chest pains often, and was even seen by a cardiologist. My grandfather who has a hard time wrapping his head around gluten free foods calls my gluten free foods "GLUTEN FOODS" I want to be like "Uh.. no. The exact opposite, actually!" His live in companion (who really isn't smart) will offer me pretzels EVERY SINGE TIME I go over. I say "I can't have those" and then she will offer me cookies.. -

I got over the fact that people don't care about Celiac. My work always has bagels, donuts, cookies..ect. No one ever thinks about me. LOL. Honestly, I'm okay with it because I'm trying to lose weight. I'm sorry she said that though! Kind of sounds like she was being mean.
