  1. thanks, I bought the pamelas but brought it back because it had dairy in it I buy "lactaid" brand american cheese slices, thank god for them, real cheese again!! their ice cream and cottage cheese is great too..milk of course lol
  2. hi guys, I understand that as long as the vinegar is distilled its safe right? well, I used red wine vinegar for a sweet and sour chicken I made, it was yummy but I was very sick for a couple days after that..the bottle does not say distilled, just "red wine vinegar" was it safe?? I thought if it was flavored it did not need to say distilled?? sorry if this...
  3. whats your favorite basic store bought white bread thats also dairy free? now that i found lactose free American cheese i want to make grilled cheese sandwiches and all the store bough breads i've had either have dairy or taste terrible. thanks

  10. it says right on the back of the shredded cheese package "0 lactose per serving" I made chicken tacos the other night and the cheese did not bother me at all..never does, anything else I have to take 2 or 3 lactose pills

  13. Hi Guys, I'm going to costco and hoping to get some safe foods..i thought I read the pre-cooked chickens are gluten-free are there any other Kirkland brand products you've tried and no had any problems with? any ideas/ brands will be great too thanks, Betty

Hi everyone, I made a great chicken dish last night and one of the ingredients in the sauce was red wine vinegar, I have had such terrible pain all day, broke down crying in the grocery store it was so bad anyway, it did not say distilled on the label, but I thought that was ok since it was flavored?? am I right? the only other ingredient that may have...
  17. thats it, thats exactly how I was for over 2 years!!!!! still have pain most days, but no where near as bad and the meds for slow gastric empting are helping that..Dr still wants me to eat a HIGH gluten diet for 4-6 weeks when I said I can't take the pain he rolled his eyes, and said you just don't seem to understand gluten and celiac disease will not do...
  18. ((((hugs)))) my dr wants me to do a challenge too, but he said it will take weeks to get any symptoms, I'm too scared to deal with that pain 24/7 again
  19. I should print this out, my Dr still tells me Celiac CAN NOT cause severe pain, when I mention other ppl with celiac disease said they also get it so bad they want to die he said "its not Celiac disease they think they have!!!! GGGRRRR
  20. I just took the choc. cake out of the oven..i use 4 egg whites instead of 3 whole eggs and substitute applesauce for the oil, cuts the fat and calories and still tastes awesome..a little chocolate frosting and yum

  22. it seems to be hit or miss with her stuff I have 3 in the freezer, they sent me coupons for free products so I used them, but I won't spend $$ on them..rather cook from scratch
  23. we hated the blondies, i even mixed in chocolate and we just didn't like it..the chocolate mixes are awesome though..I'm going to New Leaf to buy the cake and brownie mix today..only 1 of each left in my pantry, can't run out lol
