  1. Ugh...that magazine is entertaining, but its information is always horrible (especially the nutrition stuff). Does anyone else think that among the 1,000 gluten-free items at Whole Foods, you'll find grapes, chicken, carrots, rice, celery etc? It's not like they have 1,000 different gluten-free cake mixes . That article makes it sound like...
  2. Hey, I see Patti. Patti, you must post so we can all see your fabulous new avatar (what shades are you wearing in it, btw? lol )
  3. omg YEAH! LOL. My cart is full and I'm just dying to click on the purchase button! Yep, they all stack together as one. I'm picturing ending up with a huge stack of trays that goes from the floor to my bathroom ceiling I'm going to have to climb it to get to the top
  4. I like Morning Cup on my eyes. It's a subtle brown with a bit of lavendar in it - a good color if you're in the cool/fair category. You can find it in the blush section. I'm sure the people who've already ordered the mini eyeshadow kit will have better recommendations. It's a compliment of course
  5. Noooo....don't back down. You won't scare anyone around here I just admitted that I'm going to order six blushes, and I already own eight, if you count my two samples (come to think of it, maybe we are scaring lurkers just browsing through the gluten-free products forum! lol) Oh I don't think I told you guys about the little organizer I got. It...
  6. Ohhhh yeah...chit chat. That's the other blush I want to try! I'm think I'm going to order a mini kit with all blushes. I don't know why, but I suddenly have this odd blush obsession lol. Life was so much easier when I just wore one shade of blush - the same one everyday for about three years Happy Birthday to your son!!!!!!
  7. Where are all my fellow cult members today???
  8. Is it purple, or does it show up pink on your face? Alright....I've been eyeing that one. It's now definitely going in my cart I'm wearing Jump Rope blush today. Mftnchn recommended it I think. It's very different, but very pretty....kind of a rosy plum color with a mauve/purple/pinkish sheen and a bit of brown. There's no orange in...
  9. I'm really intrigued by Anytime blush. Here's a review of it from make-up alley: It's in my cart, along with the eyeshadow kit, light pink, pink ribbon and daydream (another brownish one - but it gets rave reviews LOL). I'll probably end up with an eyeshadow kit and a mini kit. Okay so I really really need to wait until the next special...
  10. We'll see if I last 'til the end of the day
  11. It wasn't that hard Here's what I picked: Good China (Small) To Do List (Small) Snowflakes (Small) Bedtime Story (Small) Cypress (Small) Chamomile (Small) Pressed Olive (Small) Hot Chocolate (Small) Starry Eyed (Small) Pots and Pans (Small) I'm particularly excited about To Do List, as it will apparantly lift my spirits...
  12. So is DVR Saturday the same shade basically as Photo Album, but a bit lighter? I was thinking DVR might be a bit more pink, while Photo Album might perhaps be bit more plum/raspberry-ish? Please, post a detailed comparison Nick Nack is more complex on the skin than it is in the jar lol. On my face it's sort of a pinky/peach/brown color. I think...
  13. Did you get your order Donna?...I'm dying to know! lol
  14. I have reactions like that to a lot of pencil eyeliners. You should check out the Everyday Minerals thread Everyday Minerals has eyeliners you can order for $2.50. It's all natural stuff (just a few ingredients), and doesn't seem to irritate anybody's eyes. It comes in a little pot of powder though....but it's easy to apply and stays on all...
  15. Yeah, it is...until you decide you must try every single color they have (sorry, I don't want to dissuade you...go to the website and buy some stuff, Susie!)
  16. I was thinking when I started this that a monster cult make-up thread was just what this board needed. Concealer - well, I use intensive fair concealer mostly, with a bit of mint dusted underneath. Under my eyes I use sunlight with a dab of pick me up pink around the outer corners (just call me crazy concealer woman). I think the intensive...
  17. I think is sounds fun! You should do it! Welcome to the thread (and to the madness! ) What colors do you use? Do share... Happy New Year everyone!
  18. I use jojoba oil for regular mascara. It would probably work for waterproof as well.
  19. We are actually competing with the omg thread with the hopes of becoming the longest, fastest moving thread in the history of the world... (just kidding) Yay Tell us more as you try them. I got my order yesterday too...and my overflowing make-up bag officially no longer zips closed I love Nick Nack blush, and I'm starting to...
  20. I just realized I don't know how to spell. Moistur... Oh well. I'm heading out and maybe when I come home there will be new make-up at my doorstep Oh and Julie - one of my previous orders was a couple bucks short of $50, but I got the free gifts anyhow. So, maybe (possibly?) they were feeling nice when they packed your order ?
  21. Rumor has it that the SPF is equivalent to 19, but I don't know how correct that is. Patti's description is good though. I have very fair skin and I don't get burned with this on my face, even when I put it over acne medication that makes me more sensitive to the sun. So, I wanted to share a good tip I've been reading about. I guess people with...
  22. Wooohoooo....according to the usps traker website, my latest order has made it to San Diego! I wonder if I will get it today????!!!!????
  23. I want one of those Sephora ones. They're so expensive though
  24. I like those...especially the second one. Maybe I'll go to Michaels after work instead of Target Or...maybe I'll go to Sephora lol. I like this BE bag (as something to travel with) Open Original Shared Link
