  1. Woohooo I got my new colors . I think I suddenly need a bigger make-up bag The full-size blush and foundation containers are massive. omg these will last me a really long time. Okay I so I got: Corner Office - very pretty, shimmery apricot. I think I'll try mixing it with Soft Touch for a lighter color, but I do like it. Photo...
  2. Mix raw cashews with water in a blender (about 1.5 cups cashews and 1 cup water). Add Italian herbs, dill, lemon, salt and (optional) garlic. Yum. I think I stole the recipe from Tarnalberry's recipe thread (?), so you can check there for a more accurate recipe, but I usually just throw stuff in without measuring and it always works
  3. I like www.glutenfreegirl.com (there's a recipe index somewhere on the site). Recipezaar is good too - just search for "gluten-free"
  4. I love Smokey too. What kind of eyeliner brush do you use? I'm really fair and Soft Touch is light on me. Morning Cup is really light too. Really pretty - but I like it better as an eyeshadow. It's a soft brown with a lavender hue (it has much more lavender in it than the online color swatch shows).
  5. I just wanted to mention that it's really easy to travel around Australia independently (without the help of a big, organized tour), and big organized tours can sometimes make travelling with food restrictions a little more difficult. I know everyone has different needs and travel styles...but I thought I'd throw that out there for whatever it's worth
  6. I like Ecco Bella and Gabriel mascara.
  7. Oooh, I've heard good things about Apple. Can't they just open an Everyday Minerals section in Sephora, so we can go try all of them? LOL
  8. I know I wish we could just get all blushes in the sample kit. I love my Nars blush but I really want to find a good EM color so I can stop putting chemicals on my face. Today I'm wearing Exhale (eye color) as a bronzer and Soft Touch blush. It's actually not bad, but not quite perfect LOL.
  9. I probably got a lighter one than you (I got a sample of Back to School) and mine was a dark orange too. Soft Touch is a really really really light pink if you want a light one. I should be getting Cherry Fizz, Photo Album and Corner Office any day now, so I'll let you all know how those are darkness and orange-wise . I really want to try the...
  10. I think the discount applies to all orders and the free stuff applies to orders over a certain amount.
  11. I've been using Emu oil on my face at night. It's really good (grosses me out a little to think what it is though ) Have you tried jojoba oil or cocoa butter?
  12. Maybe you should send them an email and see why it took so long? I noticed that the price of my order went up after it was shipped too, but I don't think I got charged for the higher amount.
  13. Ditto! I'm actually surprised this whole thing is even an issue. I mean, if my mom or my best friend were trying to give me a big box of flour, I guess I would say something. In any other circumstance, I think the point of the gift isn't the gift itself, but the intention behind it (okay that sounded cheesy lol). Anyway, it could be fun to give the gift...
  14. I have a confession. I just ordered more EM make-up. I literally opened my package that arrived today, tested it out, and decided I needed to order more LOL. The good news is, another board I frequent has Open Original Shared Link I can join. At least I won't be alone in my obsession.
  15. The last discount thing ended but now they have a new one. 7% off and some free stuff I really like what I got . I love the mint concealer. Cool Reflections Pink finishing powder is really great too. Both help neutralize the red marks on my face. Soft Touch blush is a pretty color but really light (too light actually). It's pretty as a...
  16. Well, the shipping company (dhl) somehow sent my stuff to the wrong city , so it took forever (okay one whole week lol) to get here, but...according to the dhl website, my new make-up is currently waiting for me at my front door. I can't wait to get home from work and try it out! Did anyone else get their samples?
  17. I would take it and later give the treats away to others.
  18. Eat a variety of whole, unprocessed foods (fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, legumes, gluten-free grains, meats, healthy fats etc.) and you will be getting significantly more nutrients than the average person who subsists on packaged, processed wheat-based foods.
  19. I think there would be celiac-friendly options at an Indian restaurant. However, if you really don't want to go there, just tell her you'd love to go out to dinner, but you're unable to eat at the Indian restaurant due to your dietary restrictions, and suggest some alternatives (maybe PF Changs, if you live in the US?). If you google "celiac indian...
  20. Woohooo! So glad you like it . I'm hoping my big order arrives today. Can't wait to test out my colors
  21. Chebe has a good mix for those. It's Open Original Shared Link one.
  22. Happy Birthday!!!!!
  23. Marys Gone Crackers are good. Edwards and Sons aren't bad for cheeses and such.
  24. You might want to try Spectrum organic shortening instead of coconut oil (I've never done it but I think it would work).
  25. BevMo I think. I've seen it in the gluten-free party pack at Whole Foods too. The website is www.bardsbeer.com
