  1. Those are cute Donna. I'll have to take a trip to Target after work today.
  2. My favorite colors so far are: Spin Cycle (as a highlighter and face brightener) Emerald (eyeliner) Soft Bronzer (great for pale faces when applied with the Eve brush) Soft Touch blush (didn't love it at first but it's great with the right brush. it's very subtle but I like it) Baby Bath (eye shadow) Corner Office (blush) ...
  3. I think so too. The Eve brush is sort of magical (and I got it for free! ) I think it makes all blushes look good (well, at least the six or seven that I've tried so far ).
  4. Hooray. Go hunt down the mail guys...and tell us about the kabuki brush. I'm also wondering about cozy night lip gloss. Does it have any orange in it?
  5. My dad caught the UCSD program on TV, and it somehow convinced him that cc is real . So, it must be good! Send it to all your friends and relatives!
  6. Me too The taco bar is a good idea!
  7. Dry. I usually just dust it on but I really globbed it all over my face with a good concealer brush this morning. I figure...either people at work are looking at me and wondering why I look so strange and green today (which is funny, in a way), or the concealer is doing its job and really covering up my redness. It's a win-win situation
  8. ooooh fun order You must post reviews of the colors as you try them So, I just looked at myself in the mirror and I'm kind of green today . I have that fashionable kermit look going on. I guess I overdid the mint in my rush to get out the door this morning. Oh well. Is a green face better than a red scar-covered face? (it does hide my scars...
  9. No. Nightshade-free people eat sweet potatoes.
  10. Yup. You just mix the oil and vinegar in with your avocado and other veggies. As you toss the salad, the avo blends with the oil and makes a good creamy dressing. If you can have honey that's a good thing to add (wisk it into the oil and vinegar before you add it to the veggies). Yum....and not at all boring
  11. You just eat it Avocado - add some salt, grab a spoon, eat (yum). Or, put them on your salad. They make the oil and vinegar dressing creamy and good. Hmm, I put avocadoes on everything, but I'm not sure what else you can eat. Veggies - steam them, grill them, roast them, sautee them, eat them raw. Organic veggies are good just as they are...
  12. For an easy dessert make some 3 ingredient pb cookies (people love them). Melt some chocolate chips and slather the chocolate on top when they come out of the oven. Yum!
  13. You could do a salad bar - different types of lettuce, all sorts of veggies, some simple meats, a few different dressings etc. I've been to a couple events that had this and women really seem to enjoy it. For munchies on the table, you can do corn chips, salsa, rice crackers, hummus, cheese, popcorn, nuts...nobody will know the difference.
  14. I love this thread I know what you mean about the cost BE. Did you get some good tips from them though (and did they give you a "buff, tap, swirl" demo? ) I've tried Natural Reflections Pink, Finishing Dust and Silk Dust . If I had pretty skin, I'd honestly consider just using tinted silk dust on my face and nothing...
  15. I thought I would take a break from ordering for a while too. Then I changed my mind I decided I wanted another free sample kit, and then, somehow, Favorite Hoodie, Jump Rope and natural lip gloss ended up in my cart. . In the free kit I got Nick Nack and the pink concealer. Yay, finally! oooh that kit looks fun! I...
  16. None of the gluten-free items at Trader's have ever made me sick.
  17. I'm glad you finally tried your samples Julie. Are you feeling any better? About the order LOL, you probably do need something over the green, so your way is probably good. I use mint and intensive fair concealer, so I do foundation, mint, intensive fair then finishing dust (but I don't think it's normal to wear that many different types of concealer...
  18. Nothing. We go back to work
  19. I have the remnants of about 100,000 blemishes LOL. To get coverage, I do a layer of intensive foundation with the flat top brush, then another with the kabuki. I do a dusting of mint green concealer with a lighter, fluffy brush over my really red areas...then, I dab on Intensive Fair concealer with a concealer brush.........I finish with a layer of finishing...
  20. I think I really need to do this. I've been wearing Multi-Tasking Intensive and I'm starting to wonder if maybe Sandy Fair would be better for me, or if I should have given matte or semi matte more of a chance aaahhhh too many choices!
  21. Yeah the wrong color will do that. Also, you only need a really small amount. Put a little into a cap (or onto any flat surface, such as a small mirror), and swirl the brush around it in. You should have such a small amount, that you can't really see it on the brush. Then you can build it up with layers. Hopefully the original glo will work better for...
  22. How do you do it? You have new, fabulous make-up just sitting there, and you are not tempted to break it open? That's acutally very impressive
  23. In my next order I think I'll get the neutral. Does it change the color of your blush at all? I discovered a great blush color this morning - Photo Album with a bit of Spin Cycle brushed over it. So pretty Spin Cycle is kind of like the Bare Mineral's Clear Radiance, for anyone who might happen to be looking for that type of color. ...
  24. Some people might disagree with this statement but... Mac and Chreese is good. You can get it at Whole Foods. I like the alfredo flavor. They have cheddar also.
