ARCHIVED Should You Thank The Catholic Church?
melrobsings replied to Alexolua's topic in Publications & Publicity
Clearly, I was comparing circus peanuts to Jesus....NO! Not even, I was just pointing out how hard it would be as a kid and I couldn't imagine it! I just wanted to point out rejection of a celiac from a well respected person, it sucks. That's that and yes, get over it! -

melrobsings replied to Alexolua's topic in Publications & Publicity
yep, thought this would happen.... first off: I"m not here to bash anyone!!! I think we should sit back (yes I read the article and there were many that I read) and think about the message we are sending to kids. I got Celiac as an adult THANK GOD!!! Sometimes we have to tweek things. People are so terrified of change, get over it! Yes, it's a very holy tradition but denying people communion because they are allergic!? ... -

melrobsings replied to OhLaDeDa's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
For 99% of things it's a brick and grainy. It's hard to get things just right. I have found making my own flour mixes is BY FAR the best, and most cost efficient way to go about things. Not to mention if you are allergic to almost everything you don't have to worry about reading labels as much. Welcome to brickbread land! -
