    I lived in Monterey for 7 years.....it's pure magic, esp. Big Sur. Let me know if you plan to go there, I can recommend places to go and stay, and many many restaurants I think would be safe. And as tiffany said, Seattle is absolutely wonderful also....and Puget Sound, all those islands.....beautiful.

    Mindin' my own bidness, it was on the CeliacChicks website, believe it or not......I had to share it. My friend who claims her butt is a low-rider (she's never worn pants in her life due to this, so I don't really know) will really enjoy that butt-bra thing.

    Carla.....so sorry you're having a down day, I know this must be so frustrating. I'm glad you're steering away a bit from the voodoo lady, because, if emotions ALONE could make a person sick, I'd have been bedridden 20 years ago....I think many of us would have. The dietary laws in the Old Testament (Leviticus) are VERY specific....man was allowed to eat beef because cows have three (or is it four?) stomachs, and chew their cud repeatedly, thus the food was cleaned...

    I had more than a decade of this, can totally relate....and my body simply wasn't able to sleep. the adrenalin required to keep me awake was SO fierce, combined w/ the huge anxiety over whether I'd actually sleep, that I could literally go days without sleep.....or maybe just get an hour or two here and there. BTW, I could MULTI-TASK on Tylenol PM's......
