    Thanks for the info. My son only ate cheese on pizza anyway and NO other dairy, so the main change has been in the way I cook. My biggest question is about how sensitive CF individuals tend to be. I know if I even touch gluten and touch his food, he will get violently ill, but I just don't know with casien or lactose.     Our kids were similar and we did go through all the testing, with inconclusive results. I was told they were fine and not to worry over the diet. I did anyway and now the kids are thriving. Testing in kids under 5 is very inconclusive, anyway. I wish I had followed my gut a year before I did!

    My son also had inconclusive bloodwork and ended up having 2 separate scopes about 1.5 years apart. Neither showed anything. We ended up putting him on the diet because he kept getting sicker and didn't gain any weight between 2 and 3 years old. In Dec. 2005 he was still wearin 24 mos. clothes and it was his 3rd birthday.     Have you eliminated all lotions, soaps, makeups, etc. that might not be gluten-free? We ran into something similar with my daughter.     I've had a pain in my lower left abdomen for about 6 weeks. It is slowly getting worse. I started out by going to my family doctor, who did an ultrasound and found nothing. He sent me to the OB/Gyn, who I've seen twice. He did an ultrasound last week and put me on antibiotics in case it might be an infection. I've finished the antibiotics and the pain...
