  1. I had gained like 3 pounds and was so excited and then I weighed myself the other night and it was back to the old weight. Its so weird becaus eI have a set image of what I look like and I don't understand why people look at me all the time and then I look in the mirror and it really is scary.   2. Andrea- I'm mostly over it- the problem with me is when I ahve a reaction my system goes into hypersensitive mode and I start to react to everything. I'm going to this health center tomorrow though and I am hoping that I will feel bettter after that Miamia
  3. I am just proud i figured out how to put up a picture!!! I have been meaning to do it for so long. New York is HOT- we are in the middle of a heat wave. Its gonna reach 100 on wednesday.   5. I'm with you rachel I can't even imagine what I would look like if I started eating gluten. People always tell me to go eat pizza and ice cream and I always tell them I would lose ten pounds- they don't get it. miamia
  6. Andrea- I use some of Bobs too without a problem- I have had a problem with their baking mixes but I think that was due to the use of bean flours which I don't do well with. I also have started to use mrs. robens . miamia

  9. I showed up positive for allergies to eggs. but i have been off of them for so long I am debating about giving them another try you are being to hard on your self- you should get an award you gave up your beloved bumble bars. Everyone in rachelvile applauds you!!! miamia miamia
  10. julie- I was having the same problem finding a coconut milk with out added ingredients. But I just recently found one at trader joew- its their brand- where that is the only ingredient- its been in my cabinet for a while - I have to try it. I have such poor digestion- kale and so on are pretty tough for me and I have yet to find a lettuce I can tolerate...
  11. I was thinking about cutting down on the spinach and seeing if it had an affect- I'm so happy to have a fellow spinach lover!!!
  12. Has anyone tried using coconut milk for icecream- it has fat - so it might work well. miamia
  13. I keep thinking about trying eggs- but maybe its not a good idea- but I need protein and odn't have many places I can tolerate it from. Oh god I really don't want to ahve to give up spinach!! I know for most people it would be a treat but since I was young it was always my favorite vegee- ahh.... I guess i might have to at least try cutting it out. miamia

  15. I had vances a while ago - I can't remember how it sat. I still have some in my fridge- does it have a shelf life? I want to try it again but it may not be good anymore. Miamia

  17. Patti- can you ahve dairy? I think you can't so what do you use to make ice cream? miamia The spinach thing is definitly something I should try but its hard I have not found many vegees that I can tolerate and I was always alright with it- or so I thought . I feel like I keep finding all these things to cut out but nothing much to add. Thanks...

  21. Thanks julie- I just peeked at the lists it lloks like I pretty much already avoid most of the forbidden foods but I do eat spinach and seem to be alright with it. All the other foods they say to avoid are ones that bother me- so maybe I do have a histamine problem. I'm tryoing to figure out what else I can cut out though because I seem to still be missing...
  22. Yeah I am very careful about the veggees I buy- it is frightening how huge some of them are you just know that they did not get like that without some sort of chemical added. I only buy my vegees from certain places. Cuccumbers are one of my safe foods so I am angry that it was that that I think I reacted to. The corn tortillas are hard to find I never saw...
  23. Question - if your boiling water for cooking or something do you use bottled water or tapped? Miamia Are you feeling better today. I wish I could say I was but I am still in a really bad place. I can;t believe what a strong reaction I am having - it had to have been the cucumber- Hoe is this possible?
  24. Julie- what is the website with the histamine lists? Those tortillas are really good. I have some in my freezer right now but have been avoiding corn I am thinking to give them a try again though.I don't really think corn was a big problem for me as I have been avoinding it and still really sick. Miamia
  25. right now its vegees, olive oile, some seeds(sunflower and pumpkin) I cant do most meats right now but have been able to tolerate lamb, millet, some amounts of white rice, I also bake alot and use- millet and white rice flour mainly in that. miamia
