  1. I didnt have my FMLA for myself but for my husband, they declined it first until they actually talked to him on the phone and their responce was "man your really sick you should go see a doctor" .... his croaked reply was "I would but I cant keep enough breath to walk to the truck let alone drive myself there, walk in the door and get assistance, thats why...
  2. Well, when I was a teenager I looked all but anorexic even tho I ate constantly whatever I wanted didnt seem to do anything, my doctor suggested the "ice cream" diet now if your lactose intolerant this will not work and not sure yet about ice cream in general as I am just a rookie, but he said eat one dish or cone of ice cream EVERY DAY and it did indeed...

  8. Well, I live in western Nebraska and the closest healthfood store is 60 miles away and has 2 four foot shelves for me to chose from, and its a pitiful selection let me tell you. I called the manager in charge of ordering and mentioned my wishes for a larger selection said he would special order whatever I wanted buying a case at a time but I would have to...
  9. I recently mixed up a bag of "cause your special" chocolate chip cookies, and I must say they have the taste but I would like them to be a bit more, um.....moist, they seem very dry, anyone have a clue how I can get a bit of moisture back in the cookies?

  12. For starters I am "newly diagnosed" (miss diagnosed for at least 6 years that I can tell so far but thats another topic...) and just learning to deal with my "new" diet. I am a railroad engineer and have to cart all my own food with me when I go to work. I have a Conductor who goes with me and its common practice to bring something to share with the other...
