ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something

Rachel, From what I have read on this board there are several people who believe that anything and everything is absorbed by our bodies so they stay completely away from any products with gluten (and their other offending substances soy, corn..) then there are several who only stay away from products with gluten that could possibly be ingested in the... -

Floridian, I'm probably too late, you must have gone to the strore by now...I was thinking about this all night and I remembered Edward & Sons Brown Rice Snaps. I get them at my health food store. If you are ok with Rice Twice cereal I would think you could handle these crackers? I can eat them without any problems, they have few ingredients and are... -
Omgosh this is really serious, I'm glad your daughter is doing better. Thanks for this information. The copper in the eye shows up as rings? I just have a copper blob in the color part of one of my eyes (sorry don't know the anatomy of the eye).

This is a concern of mine too, not that I live in a hurricane area (I'm pretty much in the middle) but what to do in a natural disaster or epidemic situation, like for instance when they say stock up for bird flu for when it comes. What would we stock up on?? I guess the answer Floridian is that gluten free would be priority one. It might have to... -

Mine are almost immediately while eating to right after eating. Sometimes even later in that same day, or evening, depending on when I ate the suspicious substance. But they seem to go away quickly too, like the next day. Weird. -

Isn't that the truth about the negative energy! If you hold onto that anger, and whatever else (hate, jealousy, hurt, etc.) you just carry it into your other relationships and your life in general and it only ends up hurting you. I'm all for just working it out and letting it go. I can understand why it might be hard for your exes current girlfriends... -
Welcome Robb, I am also excited to have someone with all of your knowledge be a part of this forum!! I noticed you mentioned skin tags. I just had a larger one removed this last week. I still have several really small ones in various places on my body, and they seem to run in my family on my mom's side, as well as diabetes. When I have my blood sugar...

I personally think it's great Rachel that you are able to be friends with some of your exes. Maybe it's me who is not normal in thinking this way, but I am not the kind of person who likes to cut anybody off or be mad at someone for eternity holding a grudge. To be able to be civil, or even friendly, with the people who have been such important parts of... -

Jersey, the soap is wonderful, I love it, love it, love it! I also couldn't find the post you asked about the Ecco Bella lipstick I think? Sorry I didn't get back to you on that. I have not tried anything other than the mascara from that line. I usually just use lipliner and lipbalm when I want lipcolor. I have the same issue with dried... -

Floridian, I am so sorry you got glutened. It's easy for something like this to happen, to get excited about feeling well and stable and wanting to eat more things, so we experiment and then react and it really sucks! I've been there myself too many times than I can count. Allow yourself some time to heal from your reaction and you'll get back to where... -
ARCHIVED Getting Pregnant With So Many Health Issues?

Seth is a darling name, and his smile is absolutely precious- LOVE the dimples!! Thanks for posting these ingredients. It's that darn cellulose, and I think clacium stearate is suspect as well for MSG. Maybe I should look into liquid vitamins? -

I've been using a Multi-Pure water filter on my kitchen sink for about 12 years. I love the taste of the water that comes from it. I have a big aversion to a lot of the bottled waters, some of them don't taste 'right' to me, but I guess I am just used to my filtered water. I can't find the post that jersey posted about olive oil soap. I just wanted... -
Are there tests for Wilson's Disease? Do any of your children, or yourself, have a copper speck in your eye? And what is the treatment if I may ask? I did read it was serious and potentially fatal.
-
Exactly my thoughts lorka! I wish I did get sick then I would know that gluten was harmful for me, and I could tell if I got glutened or not.
-
I think it is hard for those of us who don't get sick or for those of us who don't have clear obvious signs or symptoms from the ingestion of gluten. I know for me I find it difficult to make a mental connection to something being harmful and deadly to my body when those physical symptoms are not present.

Andrea, I love your new picture! Your little munchkin is soooo adorable I just want to squeeze those little cheeks. I would love to find some supplements that didn't have gluten, corn, and hidden MSG. I really feel like I need the vitamin/mineral support. I'm going to be 34 in July. I try not to worry about age, women are having children later... -

Hormone imbalances can cause fluid retention as well, as far as I understand from my research. I am in the same boat as you today, I literally have 20 lbs of fluid retention that I have gained over the last week. This is just not normal and has been a huge problem for me for 14 years. Nobody I go to first of all believes me, one doctor even told me... -

Rachel, are you by chance impacted as well? For me the pain would be worse in the ovaries if I was impacted. Just a thought. I was thinking maybe the stuff you did for graves, and possibly the thyroid medication, is responsible for your shifts in hormones and etc. -
Had you peeled the pear before you ate it? Or was it from a different grower than the ones you haven't reacted to in the past. Just a thought.

I was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome as well, when I was about 21. I've always had difficult menstrual cycles and hormone imbalances ever since my very first period. They have gotten better as far as being regular, but I still have intense pain. I noticed that my diet always makes a huge difference with what kind of symptoms I will have from... -

The ph of your urine being alkaline means your system is on the alkaline side vs. acidic. Ph above 7.0 is alkaline. To normalize this eat more acid forming foods and reduce alkaline forming foods. Examples of acid forming foods: asparagus, beans, legumes, meat, cranberries, eggs, fish, plums, olives -

Is it a case of the doctor having to call you and give you the results? I think that doctors are the only ones that can deliver the information, I might be wrong though. So it might be a matter of procedure/protocol and not that something is wrong. I hope all is well, and I will keep positive thoughts flowing for you. I know what you mean about... -
When I started reading down this thread I was saying to the computer screen "Wilson's Disease", "Wilson's Disease". Glad you guys figured it out. I was diagnosed with Wilson's Syndrome, which is different, but when I first got the diagnosis I couldn't find any information on it, only for Wilson's Disease so I read a little about it. Interestingly...
