  2. \im 28 and my gastro insisted that all celiacs need to get a bone scan, so i got one
  3. i use thier lipgloss, blush, bronzer and eyeshadows and really like all of them!!!
  4. so i had a few pieces of chicken last night- just two bites really was all i could handle mentally. i didnt get any weird stomach aches so thats good. i guess ill slowly just increase it to three bites and then four bites- it tastes so weird!!
  5. thanks for everyone reponses. i'm also blood type O which is supposed to eat meat. i hate meat, it grosses me out but im gonna try and see- maybe i wnot feel exhausted all the time. thanks

Hi I have not eaten meat/fish since the age of eight and my naturopath is recommending i try some meat due to my low iron and low adrenal functioning. i was going to start with a little chicken- has anyone tried meat after so long...will i get sick? feel wierd? any insihgt would be great! thanks Jess
  7. thanks everyone. i went to the derma today who did a cortisone injection but its not like i can go t here everyday. she prescribed tazorac cream which is stronger than retin and a benzol peroxide face wash. she also prescribed a pill called spironolactone but im not sure if i will take it. i ahve to check with my naturopath and i dont think shell be thrilled...
  8. hi ever since going off the pill ive had painful acne and its making me crazy. as a teen i had bad acne and did the whole acutane thing. right now i use retin a from the derma but i think i need something stronger. has anyone else got bad skin after going off the pill- does it get better????
  9. i think im going to look into the threelac as well........has anyone had good experiences?? i just cant imagine cutting out all sugar and rice in addition to the gluten
  10. haha thats so funny!! i always say how much i love gravol and ppl think i'm crazy. i also use it to fly and never go anywhere without it. its all over my house- in my purse, in my pockets. i want to buy stock in gravol!!! we should start a gravol fan club!!
  11. hi i had terrible nause and somtimes still do. at first they gave me compazine which most people tolerate well but i got restless legs from it. then they gave me zofran which didnt really help but has helped alot of people. then they gave me reglan which did help. for over the counter i take gravol which is a canadian medication for nuasea but it makes you...
  12. i also get regular vertigo but only since going gluten free. it has been diagnosed as migraine related vertigo even though i dont get the headacehs- i feel like vertigo is the worse thing ever!! so scary hope you feel better!!! i went off the pill and that seems to help a little
  13. never mind- i found the post that said if it was 100% juice it was fine- the one i had was 100% juice so im okay- phew!

Hi We have an outbreak of chicken pox where i work (and scabies as well). i had chicken pox as a kid. can i get it again? i read that if you have an autoimmune disease you are more suseptable and then you could get shingles? i'm waiting to hear back from my dr but was wondering if anyone knew about this? thanks Jess
  16. thanks guys! i havent gotten sick yet. i was worried that if i touched my hair and then ate it would transfer the wheat but maybe thats a bit paranoid!!! i dont have DH either and my scalp did not get irritated at all.

So lately ive been making an effort to use products with no chemicals in them, so i bought a natural hair dye from whole foods. after i died it, i realized it had wheat in it. i usually check all products for gluten but for some reason totally forgot- is this really bad??? every time i touch my hair- which is all the time- do i have to run and wash my hands...

  20. i got tea at whole foods made by "traditional medicinals" brand of tea- i have a feeling its going to taste bad- that is for the candida. the hemp proteient was also recommended by the np for the adrenal fatigute i think- i do nt get a lot of protient- dont eat meat or fish. ill let you know what its like- im supposed to make a drinkof it with frozen fruit...
  21. thanks everyone for the helpful responses and resources!! she told me to buy pao d arco tea- has anyone had it? it sounds gross also i bought hemp protien powder and hemp oil to make protein shakes- has anyone tried that?

Hi I saw the naturopath yesterday for the first time and she suspects that i have candida (yeast overgrowth) and adrenal fatigue. has anyone done a saliva test for adrenal markers? i have to do one i geuss to measure cortisol level throughout the day. does anyone else have these things? i remember someone talking about adrenal fatigue. thanks Jess
