  1. wierd question- yeterday i walked into one of those door handles (not a knob). it hurt like hell. it hit my right side right above my hip bone. its slightly bruised today and still hurts- how do you know if you damaged something inside??!! like an organ or something......

  5. as a liscensed social worker, i wouldnt recommend a psychiatrist (although i once had a great experince with one in toronto who recommended mediation and mindfulness). as others have said a social work or psychologist would be more appropriate. just make sure they are liscensed!
  6. i dont know if you have a trader's joes in the area but they have much cheaper gluten free pasta that is brown rice. its 1.99 here in boston which is much cheaper than tinkyada and tastes the same. they also have other stuff that is gluten-free and seems cheaper than wholefoods.
  7. its really wierd. i dont think its gluten related cause our house is gluten free and there really wouldnt be anyway i was getting any. i emailed my dr but hes out until jan 2 so ill have to wait.
  8. i have had this weird thing lately where when i lick my lips i taste something really bitter. ive only noticed it at home when i get home from work. i dont wear lipstick or anything so i cant imagine what it could be??!!! anyone hear of this?
  9. has anyone had vestibular testing for dizziness? i have it tommorow and im so nervous b/c people often throw up from it and i have a phoebia of vomitting i hate being nauseous way more than being in pain!
  10. wow, thanks for all the great replies. i have a few weeks to decide. i was concerned that it is on its way out and that maybe i would hate it in a few years. our house is just so cottagey and warm that i wanted to bring something sort of "cold" and modern to balance it out. (our house is very old) we are buyinig the appliances last so geuss i can see how...

  15. Hi we are buying some new appliances with our wedding money and i love the look of stainless steal but someone said they look really dirty really easily...does anyone have stainless steel and like them or is it a problem for people??? thanks Jess

  17. hi rachel yah i told the derma that it would likely come back negative and that there was only that one lab u mentioned that would show it (at the appt i couldnt remember the name). she had no idea what i was talking about. she said maybe it was a spider bite and the venom temporarily died my leg??!!! it has been 2 and a 1/2 months and it really hasnt changed...

Hi Cathy i can totally relate! especially the first few months i honestly bought like 6 books about celiac, subscried to two gluten-free magazines and was constantly on the internet. i also had nightmares about eating gluten. i feel less into it now and have really just narrowed my time down to this website whichi still feel like to go on everyday!!...
  25. hello, NARS reported thier whole line is gluten free. MAC has alot of gluten-free makeup and if you call customer care they will tell you which ones. laura mercier has a gluten-free list they can email to you. those are kind of expensive brands though. im not sure about drug store brands. i dont buy makeup so often so i itend to buy NARS and MAC since they...
