  1. Back around when this thread was started (in April). Don't feel stupid. We are trained to trust our doctors. Unfortunately that is becoming a dangerous thing most times.
  2. Carla's seemingly had hers awhile so I'll be real curious about her test results. I am really curious about you too. Seems like those with high intolerances, chemical sensitivities etc are testing positive. Julie's already said she has it based on her bioscan and now she's got to find a doctor who will sign the note for the Igenix test. I...
  3. That's a pretty good idea on their part. I don't know how long she's been sick. Hopefully she'll be on tonight and can fill us in, as well as when she had these done. Why do I have a feeling they were done awhile ago?
  4. Rachel, Your last post means that Mia should have been diagnosed positive.

  6. Rachel, What's the difference between the IgM and the IgG? More of Mia's IgG was positive than the IgM and when we get Carla's results I'm going to want to add hers so it's all readable.
  7. That is what I was thinking. Hopefully Mia will be able to go to the doctor in Hyde Park that Carla found out about.
  8. You could have gluten intolerant genes. That is more than likely the case. If you want to know what genes you have get retested through enterolab. It sounds like you are gluten intolerant and still need to be gluten free.
  9. My husband uses Konsyl. Have you tried that. What about a stool softener. Senokot-s is pretty good. I'd have to see what my husband uses. I was also told that you could use magnesium, flax, vitamin C. Rotate through the natural remedies. Wasn't given a specific schedule. Maybe one will work better for you than the others. Hope this helps.
  10. Yep, I think hers look more positive for lyme too.
  11. Miamia posted her IgM and IgG. Since there was some differences I posted both of them as well. So it goes Rachel, Rhonda, Mia and Mia. Hmmm, that throws a wrench in the works doesn't it?
  12. Ursula is right. dq2 subtype 2 is celiac, dq1 subtype 6 is a gluten sensitive gene. Dq1 is behind a lot of the neurological symptoms of people from what others have posted on the board.
  13. Combined results: Rachel / Rinne / Mia IgM Western Blot/ IgG/ IgM Western Blot/IgG 18 kDa. neg/ 18 kDa neg./ 18 kDa. neg /18 kDa + 22 kDa. neg/ 22 kDa neg./ 22 kDa. neg /22 kDa neg. **23-25 neg/ **23-25 kDa neg./ **23-25 neg /**23-25 kDa IND 28 kDa. neg/ 28 kDa neg./ 28 kDa. neg /28 kDa neg. 30 kDa. +/ 30 kDa neg./ ...
  14. Miamia, Please post your results if you can. I will put them with Rachel and Rhonda's......Carla, I'll add yours once you get them and post them.
  15. Gotta agree there. Give it time, make sure of the latch and you'll both feel good.
  16. Yea for good days!!! So glad you'll be able to get the house ready for Thanksgiving.
  17. Wow, Courtney. That is so good to hear. The more people (especially in hospitals) that know of gluten and cc the better.
  18. Already saw it. YEA!!!!! Now for your eos results in a couple days.......
  19. With my first I had my appetite under control and only gained 18 pounds. I was overweight though. My next I gained 40 pounds, and my last I gained 40 pounds. It comes off pretty easily. My youngest turns a year old tomorrow and I'm only 5 pounds over my pre pregnancy weight, but I'm not excercising so that would probably have been off by now if I...
  20. How is it that dog/cat ticks aren't really known to be lyme carriers but deer tick are?
  21. As far as I know it is for the difference between say a regular loaf of bread and the gluten free bread. You need to keep all receipts and you need to pass the deductible limit for health I think (on itemized deductions form).
  22. Haven't heard a thing. I'm really concerned now.
  23. About the co-infections. It seems possible to get something from an animal that has the infection from the article I posted above. I skimmed it, but animals licking you, dust particles in the air; they can cause illness.
  24. 2 weeks from tomorrow. It's on a Monday. Don't know the time though since you didn't tell me.
