  1. Can't wait, can't wait. Is your appointment after work?
  2. Somebody's been doing more research. Hi all! L, Was your appointment this week with the new doc? I spaced it......sorry.
  3. Susan, I hope this passes quickly for you. Enjoy your restful day.
  4. You guys are far easier than my daughter to handle. Maybe because you are older and don't live with me. Hi Donna! Glad you're having fun and enjoying your food. Yay for not getting sick!!!! Washington state requires 11 subjects to be covered and the kids have to take a test every year to see if they are up to par with the...
  5. Looking forward to you coming home and being more of a regular on here again Meredith. Hang in there L. You are on the road to finding your answer.
  6. Hi all. It has been quiet in here. I've been revamping the school schedule. We are stretching 1st grade over 1 1/2 years instead of 1. The curriculum we use is advanced and by the time they finish 10th grade it's like 12th grade in the public school system. Talitha has a 4 month break before we pick up again. Should give her plenty of time to get...
  7. I agree with the Carla and Tiffany. If you had a positive biopsy you have Celiac. It would seem that you had healed enough to show a negative after your 3 month challenge. Back to the gluten free diet. You have a definate diagnosis with the first biopsy.
  8. Carla, I was originally thinking you'd get your results the week of the 4th. Hopefully real soon!
  9. Some natural stool softeners (aside from foods) are vitamin C, Magnesium, Flax Oil (ground seed would probably be ok).
  10. I had called a few months ago to check on their cooking stocks and they are a big company with many food divisions. They had told me that the Imagine cooking stocks were gluten free. I thought their site had said all the soups were but a couple. That's really disappointing that cc issues with these could be a real problem.
  11. Laura, Why am I not too surprised that the doctor didn't run a lyme test? Can't wait until you see the new doctor. Rachel I'll be interested to see if mom gets it after your appointment on Monday.
  12. Rachel, I'm sorry. I'll be waiting for all your new info when you have time to read and digest everything.
  13. I try. I believe you will be able to go. Bioset #1 is going to be working with you.
  14. I would think you'd be able to go next year......but I'm not a doctor.
  15. ARK, I missed your second post. Ursula pretty much answered again. If his problems don't totally resolve gluten free you would need to look into other things. If he has had such a turn around already, then you have your answer. Gluten free is easy once you get the hang of it and can still be very healthy. I'm so glad his tummy doesn't hurt anymore...
  16. Welcome missusg! We bounce around from topic to topic in here in an effert to help others out. If you have anything specific you'd like to ask, ask away. Yes, corn is in everything. Simply V is intolerant to corn so she may be able to help you out quite a bit. You can do a member search for her. She does pop in once in awhile here but...
  17. He doesn't have the known celiac genes but he could still have an active gluten intolerance. I assume you were looking into this because of problems with gluten. Otherwise, as Ursula said he could develop other problems down the line if he continues to consume gluten and has had a problem with it.
  18. Laura, I'm so excited for you!!!!! Please keep us posted. This sounds very promising.
  19. Well it IS next year. Maybe you mean "feels like a lifetime from now" Doesn't Rachel need to wait until March?
  20. Um, yes you mentioned that. Is there any way to see the one doctor so he can check whatever needs to be checked while you go through the treatments you're going through?
  21. I'm waiting anxiously along with the rest of you.....
  22. That's a good idea Rachel. Rhonda, We are here for you as much as we can be (since we can't literally hold your hand and help you). There have got to be LLMD's in Canada that can help you. Love and hugs....
  23. Rachel, Wow, you've learned a lot! I have this guys site bookmarked but haven't really looked at it yet. Very interesting about those maps....wish they were bigger. As far as the group, I believe you can just drop in. Support groups are designed for whoever needs/wants support and the people who attend don't necessarily attend every meeting.
  24. Pretty much. Schedule is still off with bedtime etc after the kids being up way past their bedtime on Monday. Talitha is still trying to wrap her mind around a full day of school again. I just resorted to the timer.....we'll see if that works any better.
