  3. Susan, I've been thinking the same thing. Happy Birthday!!!! Rachel! I see you!!! I saw your post over on Susan's thread. Glad to see you are braving the cold, cruel world.
  4. Happy Birthday Susan! Sorry you have to go to work today, on top of not feeling well. Hope your evening is fun anyway and that the girls behave themselves and don't track in any more mud/dirt. Thanks for being you.
  5. Yay!!! I've been busy cleaning this morning. It's been awhile. This place is toooooooo quiet today.
  6. A post from Roxanna. The report button was accidentally pushed.
  7. Fantastic, wonderful, that's great!!!!!! Dingo's.......trouble.......I'd be very, very upset also.
  8. I would suspect that both yesterday's outing and getting your results have something to do with you being tired and sore today. Get some rest and we'll see you in the morning. Patti, I'm sorry. I think it would be good to keep what you can. Sorry you have to go through this. Looking forward to you feeling better though. Can do.
  9. Ok, here's your nagging. Just make the phone call and order the coinfections test. I will only take a few minutes and you need to know this before you appointment next month. I hope Adam isn't gone long.
  10. Rachel, We'll be waiting for your post when you are rested and able to post about it.
  11. My children love ground beef with taco seasoning. I do have a homemade recipe for taco seasoning as well as chili powder substitute that isn't spicy if you are interested. Other than that I was going to suggest some of the things you already did.
  12. Hugs. It will get easier as you get used to the diet. Naturally gluten free is pretty easy, meats, fruit, veggies, rice, potatoes. There are a lot of gluten free stuff that is pretty good to buy, or you can make stuff yourself. As Carla said, don't worry about the weight right now. As she heals (and is gluten free) she will gain back weight.
  13. Donna, So glad you are safe and having a good time. Can't wait until you get home, but it sure is nice of you to drop in.
  14. Looking forward to an update tomorrow.
  15. The posts need to be pinned before they show at the front of a category. If you view new posts you will see all posts since the last time you were online, whether they are pinned or not. Your post has been taken care of now.
  16. Ok, I can see why you would think she is most likely to have lyme. It is a definate possibility. She sounds like she feels like my daughter about blood draws. Are you thinking of getting her tested? My family all had low numbers with enterolab but we all have at least one celiac gene so we will remain gluten free.
  17. Like the previous poster said. Check that everything is gluten free including personal care products. Cross contamination can be a big issue as well. After being totally gluten free for awhile you should see some improvement. She may have other intolerances like dairy or soy. Those seem to be the top "other" intolerances that go along with gluten.
  18. I believe Rachel was 2 weeks clear up to about 4 weeks for Rhonda....but she's in Canada. Carla was about 3 weeks so that would probably be about right for you, maybe a little more since we have Christmas just before that 3 weeks and New Year just after. If you've had this from childhood then it is possible that any of the children could have gotten...
  19. Patti, YOOHOO......have you had your appointment yet today???? Carla, How's your family feel about your diagnosis????
  20. At least we already had our pictures taken. Micah fell and cut himself on the eyebrow the day after he turned 1. We had just had our pictures taken before that as well. He has a scar from that one.
  21. It had a number next to the signing spot. 19,000 some odd.
  22. Done for the two voters in this house. Keep us posted on how it's doing if you will.
  23. I had also read that gluten passed through the breastmilk. I had ELISA allergy/intolerance testing and came back intolerant to gluten as well as soy. I went gluten light as I wasn't intolerant to oats and barely, as well as soy free and my baby's eczema cleared most of the way up. It wasn't until I went completely gluten free that he completely cleared...
