  1. I have a cuisinart food processor and a bosch universal mixer/blender. I burned out 2 osters before getting the bosch. It's pretty heavy duty.
  2. Hubby's coming home via the eastern side of the mountains. I told him now was the best time because snow is supposed to hit the main pass tonight, right now there is just water in spots. He still won't be home before 7 and probably later but at least he'll be home. I was looking at some video of the floods, it's awful. I did call one person I was concerned...
  3. It is possible that other things are causing problems with gluten and other foods right now. Once you get yourself healed up you can challenge it if you'd like and see.
  4. April, I think worms can be anywhere in your body. Hubby just called. So far the company wants him to stay put. He's got to check back with them within the next two hours so I'm hoping he can convince them to let him come home the long way. I told him that the DOT is saying the freeway will be closed at least 36 hours and they've got...
  5. Here's a little something I pulled of the WSDOT site this morning. This is worrisome to me as we know a lot of people in that area. That's where our old church is. The freeway is higher than a lot of places and if it's 8' under water in one spot then I can just imagine the rest of the area.
  6. I'm glad your hubby didn't have to work double time. We had a power outage a few weeks ago and my daughter was complaining about it. I reminded her that the power company worked real hard during outages to get the power back on. Also glad to hear that he is doing better with the gluten intolerance. That will make things much easier for you. I...
  7. Hope all goes well and that you get through this with flying colors. I'll be looking for an update when you're able. I think I'm glad I don't have to take valerian root.
  8. Well Mitch is settled into a hotel up north. I won't know until tomorrow late morning whether he took off to go the eastern washington route or not. He said if I don't hear from him that he's on the road. I-5 is supposed to be under about 5 or more feet of water tomorrow when the river crests. This is the worst flooding for many of the rivers in Western...
  9. The chlorella I bought from the store didn't get along with me but the King Chlorella I do fine with. If you aren't taking enough I think it can cause problems but Rachel knows more about this than I do.
  10. Yay!!!! That is great news! So you'll find out about Igenex on the 14th right? I got a call from hubby who is about 2 hours or so north being loaded. He told me that 20 miles of I-5 is closed due to the bad weather we've been having. Lots of rain, mudslides, flooding. A dike broke which is why 20 miles of the highway is closed. At this...
  11. That depends on how comfortable you are with the idea of the whole world reading it. Either or all of the options you listed would be ok.
  12. Sounds like he has a good plan of action. Glad things went well. Keep us posted on your testing. One day at a time Kassandra......one day at a time. It's a little easier to take that way. I also hope the hematologist will leave the PICC line in. Yes, you are sick and you can't expect to get all the stuff done that you want. Try to prioritize...
  13. Cute tree! I can see why your bed would be pain. Julie, I thought your tree looked bigger than 8". I was beginning to think you were extremely talented to make an 8" tree look so big. $8 is a great price though!
  14. Hi Borst! I hope you'll join us......just jump in.
  15. I hope you'll not pass out and everything will be fine. How come you have to fast beforehand? Was it Tuesday you were having it done?
  16. Is this something you can just close your eyes with? I don't know what they do for dialysis patients but my dad had something that was inserted in his chest area and capped to make it easier to do his dialysis. Is that similar to a PICC line? I don't know. Laura had posted the page that had the codes on them......don't remember if they had...
  17. Sherry, Thanks for the update. Sounds like the proceedure you went through helped, but still sounds painful.
  18. Both those sound scary. Hopefully your mother will realize you still need to see an LLMD. My daughter and I are alot alike personality wise and we have problems already.....she's almost 8. See below. Sorry about the new foods. It's so hard when more foods start causing problems. Ditto.
  19. Donna, They are in northern CA.....go to the website to look and see the stores that carry it. Palo Alto, San Fran, Sacramento, Santa Cruz......and more. Aren't those somewhat near you?
  20. Whole Foods has it and I think they've expanded to Northern CA. Check out the website and see where they are now. I think it's coconutbliss.com .......yep that's it.
  21. You can take the chlorella with food.
  22. That sounds real good. Maybe if need be you can have a visit with the LLMD then coordinate in between visit's with the local doctor or something like that. I assume the LLMD would need to see you once in awhile but maybe everything could be worked through the psychiatrist since the LLMD would work with him.
  23. And with this note Rinne. I told the owner of the gluten free store about your frozen gluten/dairy/soy free except for lecithin treats and that I would let him know when they make it to the states. He's a small store so needs a distributor. He's just able now to get the Coconut Bliss that we love. He's been trying for 6 months to find a distributor for...
