  1. Open Original Shared Link today while I was running.
  2. Just curious what photo hosting websites you use. I've tried Photobucket...(pretty good, but kinda sterile) and WebShots.... Do you use something other than flickr and why?? j
  3. I think I took it with my a small point and shoot on "timer mode" at the beach after running. Honestly can't remember I have so many photo's.
  4. Oops, I posted a faulty link..my bad...Hopefully this will work. I use a Canon SD630 PowerShot when I go running. It's got a decent macro function. Not a substitute for a DSLR and Macro lens...but you can carry it running:)
  5. I like to take pictures when I go out running. I carry an itty bitty pocket point and shoot camera. [url="Open Original Shared Link
  6. My wife says that I keep taking pictures of the same stuff. I tell her, take me somewhere new and I'll take pictures of it:)
  7. I have about 11,000 images...many gigabytes:) They just take up space....
  8. Um...I guess corporate greed and compassion don't mesh well together...he says with his most sarcastic internet voice....
  9. Right...you have to understand that what you are seeing are huge 3888 x 2592 images that I've quickly scaled down to 640x480 to place on the web. These images could be cropped numerous ways for effect... The crispness of these images also suffers a bit during the resizing process. Having said that, yes, not centering is something I could be better...
  10. Hard to take a bad picture of emma;)
  11. Most of them are Oregon...a few Alaska, Hawaii and Mexico pics thrown in there.

    ARCHIVED Sports Drinks

Propel is great....it should fall out of the clouds instead of rain. Haven't noticed anything with powerade, but I don't drink it terribly often, I don't like it as well as propel. j
  13. I work as a program manager for one of the US's major high tech firms. My focus is on managing and coordinating the release of software to support our OEM Server Systems and Server boards. I've worked at the same company for 28+ years (I'm only 47) and I gotta say that I am really sick and tired of the way Corporate America behaves these days. I can...
  14. I've been working on my Photobucket album at: Open Original Shared Link (You have to click on the sub album name to see the pictures in that album) I've added some pictures, plus created multiple sub albums: Flowers, Wildlife, Sunsets/Landscapes, Night Photos, People. I'd be interested in which category you like the best, which picture in that category...
  15. I would cast my vote for it being a good thing. It's quite common to have muscle twitching and a generally shaky feeling after working out. Especially in the areas that you've intentionally fatigued. I mean that's the thing you want to do...fatigue your muscles so that your body responds by creating more muscle mass/strength. You may be sore for a...
  16. How'd you like to gas up your car with Aluminum/Gallium "pellets"? Just add water and it produces hydrogen. No toxic fumes and the elements are abundant in the US. Talk about cool!! Think about the billions and billions of dollars this would funnel into our domestic economies.... j May 15, 2007 New process generates hydrogen from aluminum alloy...
  17. Welcome!. Three days after going gluten free, I noticed a fog of lethargy and depression lifted. Of course I didn't really even know this fog was there, because I was so used to it. It was like the sun suddenly coming out... I went on and off and on and off. I came to know this feeling of depression and grogginess well. Interestingly it always goes...
  18. Just think how much it would change world economics to stop paying for all this oil. Governments should make it a priority....Billions and Billions.... This doesn't happen because money owns the government...but it will some day...
  19. I mean, I'm SURE you have something witty to say, so lay it on us
  20. Paula, if you go in and edit your profile, you can add a witty saying...instead of "Advanced Community Member". Of course that's only useful if you have something witty to say j
  21. Wow, thanks for the Monday morning boost:) Didn't get out to take any this weekend, just exciting home maintenance:) Thanks for the compliment. j
  22. Too funny... And, I'm surprised this thread, about nothing, is still going:)
  23. We've went on loads of vacations, where apparently I didn't go, because there are no pictures of me. My wife and kids had a great time, but apparently I didn't:) It's really kind of silly when only one of you is a photographer:)j
  24. Well, I know a little bit. I had a nodule 20 years ago, it went away in a week or so. I know that thyroid cancer is slow growing....and that they can sometimes kill it, even if it's spread, with radioactive iodine. Don't quote me...but I believe that to be true. Then you just take thyroid hormone for the rest of your life. Hope things to well for your...
  25. Did I mention I don't like the say cheese type smiles:) ? I try to NOT take those pictures if I can help it. Totally agree with you.
