  1. I had balance issues that went away slowly, over 6-8 months, I think. One day I just realized that I no longer felt compelled to hold the rail when going down stairs. I think the neuro stuff goes away more slowly.
  2. WOOOHOOOO!!! Spring is here! Heat's off.......Doors are open...........House is a sweltering 50F............ Think I'll strip down and start my tan!!!
  3. The paper you referenced is almost 40 years old. It may have been accurate for it's time, but science has advanced quite a bit. Have you seen anything from the last 5 years or so? Here's one from 1974 that discounts that paper, and cites others that have also discounted that paper. Open Original Shared Link
  4. There's yer dessert plan Suze.
  5. So glad to see someone else post this opinion.
  6. My ferritin was 4, and I went for the pills. I took three a day for a while, but for most people that would cause gastric issues. It's a difficult choice, I guess. And very individual. I've also been noticing recently, after almost a year on iron, that I seem to be a different color. Weird not to be blue...
  7. Canadian tarts Flourless chocolate walnut torte Mango ice cream drizzled with limoncello meringue cookies with strawberries and cream (like strawberry shortcake) chocolate fondue with fresh fruit anglefood cake with different sauces
  8. The kind someone else makes and invites you over to eat.
  9. I guess I'm sorta concerned about the plan to try infusions first, rather than something you swallow. There will always be more risks associated with putting something directly into your bloodstream through a needle. I'm not trying to second guess your doc, just make sure you've considered all angles before making your choice.
  10. It's how I confirmed (to myself) my "little gluten issue" Once it was all gone, I felt great.
  11. Did you not eat during that time? Maybe there's some small thing still bugging you and you accidentally carpet-detoxed.
  12. I'm back in statistics purgatory. I'm hoping I'm not actually expected to DO some of this stuff
  13. I take no supplements. My sleep improved with a diet change. For you, it could be either, or both, that's helping.
  14. It was those crutch tips you kept hurling into their yard while shouting "HOFF!! I WANT THE HOFF!!"

    ARCHIVED Parasites

Actually the point is not the danger of herbs. The point is the danger of self diagnoses followed by self medication.
  16. When I had mine done I asked if it would hurt. She said "no, because I'm gonna numb the heck out of cervix" She did, and it was great.

    ARCHIVED Parasites

Lizard put it very well. There are a great many internet sites promoting expensive, (at best) worthless,or (at worst) dangerous products. Just because something isn't regulated doesn't mean it can't cause you harm.
  18. I'm pretty sure mushrooms are grown in poop, if that makes you feel any better.
  19. That'd make him get better real fast
  20. Shall we send crutch tips for the gall bladder wake?
  21. Ah yes. Much of which can be consumed prior to the event, if you so choose (bring an extra orange jug).

    ARCHIVED Parasites

I would say the greatest problem is assuming you have a parasite because you "feel funny" and treating yourself haphazardly with stuff you get from the internet.
  23. I have no good answers for you. You've done all the things I would have done. Only recommendation I have, if you get migraines frequently (and don't want to go the prescription route) is have advil with you always, and take some the minute you know you're getting a headache. It's easier to stop it before it starts.
