  1. Cat iron it is! By popular consensus. If you travel on a mode of transportation that has a huge crowd moving in unison portion (like getting off the ferry), the cat hairs on your clothing tend to redistribute themselves to all your companions.
  2. I've been wondering if having a cat sleep on your pants counts as ironing....
  3. I DO like it at 5am, when I'm getting up for work. I'm always miffed when ours changes.
  4. The building and pen will have to be built to withstand raccoons and coyotes. I don't think it'll be anything more than live theater for young master Lyle, the Deft. uh.......Nik......You DO realize that the light isn't really controlled by the clocks....right?
  5. :o Patti got a disease from Wayne's improperly cared for whosi-whatsit!! My new best friend Todd (who is an artist at heart) is going to build me a raised garden bed, a chicken coop, possibly the mini patio at the side of the house, and maybe working up to a "carport" made of trellises (not a fixed building, no permits).
  6. What MG said... Seriously, if you haven't been tested for celiac disease, and don't plan to be, and eating gluten has very little effect on your health, don't worry about it. If you have been diagnosed with celiac disease, you have to be 100% gluten-free to protect your health. If you feel ill when you eat gluten, you're likely to be 100% gluten...
  7. Well now, I just hired my friends husband to build stuff. He asked if he could start cleaning up as well, and what to do if he had any good ideas for plantings or something.... So amazing to find someone who's actually willing to work.
  8. There is no identified "Celiac gene". Some of the DQs are more associated with Celiac diseas, but none of them are causative.
  9. Oh where's the adventure in that??
  10. Which one is Justin Timberlake?
  11. Sorry for hijacking angel.. I contacted the gluten strip company and they said: in response to these questions: My interpretation of this is: if you don't do it the way you're instructed, they don't guarantee the results.
  12. or... it was a false positive to begin with, and all you did with your manipulations was add water to your sample, which made the result look a little less dark on the strip...
  13. It looks so.....professional.....
  14. Mike, I just looked. You have no invisible posts. Maybe a server glitch somewhere and your posts didn't make it to the board?
  15. So you aren't using the strips according to the manufacturer's instructions, and yet you're claiming that the answers you get are real?
  16. Oh honey. I'm sure we've been squiggly together lots of times. Four or five of us have been squiggly together even! This is a safe place.
  17. Aw man! I leap out of bed race to the computer dance around it yelling hurry hurry huryy all so I can post before Emily and she's already squiggly :( But apparently a very slow typer.....
  18. I forgot to mention that my brother's a hypochondriac! And not allergic to his "hypoallergenic" Rexs....
  19. The knee is doing great. It's a quick recovery - not back to perfect, but back to entirely usable. Another woman here had the same surgery a week after mine and she's also very happy with her progress.
  20. I find that by simply making my own food, I eliminate any need to buy expensive test strips, or stress over getting CC'd.
  21. Thought you said tomato watch...  um.. . . . . . . . . . .......BOYS.. . . . . . . . . . .......
  22. But seriously, did any one here realize that cows and deer stand north to south?
