    I sometimes fear that I'm letting out too many unknown things about scientists; that we'll lose the mystique. Now, when some respected researcher comes on the news, instead of thinking "Wow! He's a scientist!" You'll be thinking "Hey, I wonder what he named his freezers..."

    When I had the problem, it recognized my email and password, said 'logging you in' or whatever the phrase is, then snapped back to the guest page. Every time. Even changing the cookies setting didn't help. Only difference I know of is that this computer is running Vista, old computer was XP.

    I was checking on a word to be certain I was spelling it correctly and came across this: (I took out the naughty ones) For some reason the juxtaposing of Hork along with proper grammatical explanations strikes me as very funny. Good to know, however, that hork can be used as a transitive verb.

    I have a vague recollection that a few years ago someone from this site emailed me a chart with a lot of different flour mixes on it.     We also have Robbie the robot. Robbie was chosen as a name because we didn't know what gender the robot was, however, after working with Robbie for 5 years I can definitely report that he is a boy - does what he's told without providing any thought, needs constant supervision, and frequently stops working for no particular reason. Nefertiti, our awesome...

    I had the same thing happen (except that I killed my old computer with a bowl of stew). I switched to Mozilla Firefox and haven't had the problem since. I just figured it was something to do with Explorer... You could visit your old profile page and leave a comment that tells your story and your new name.

    uh....no. In my opinion. Your diet is yours to arrange, if you don't want to eat gluten, then don't.

    GET A DIFFERENT DOCTOR! Lungs and livers aren't so close in the body that you need to damage one in order to get the other.
