  1. Sounds more like an acrobatic group The aMAZing Delineated Weener and the FLYing Debre
  2. yes, never said 'have to'. Just as some companies preface every single ingredient with the word 'organic' to sell more product, a company that intentionally keeps their products gluten free, and knows that they are gluten-free, could promote themselves by adding the <5ppm to their boxes. It would work on me.
  3. I missed that the first time!
  4. It was a curious sequence of events though. Do you suppose you're in perimenopause?
  5. That photo appears to have been cut from a box top, so someone apparently bought those pants uh...Kurt?...where did you say you got that photo?....
  6. Ya know yer a redneck when... Oh yeah. The pup just totally completes the look, doesn't he? You could always just try the Fiji cure
  7. Yes, but it's repetitive because we know what it means. Someone new to the gluten game might see 'gluten-free', and assume that the 'made in...' statement is meaningless because it says gluten-free on the box. If it also states <20 ppm, even the most uninitiated would have to wonder if that meant there might be some gluten in it, especially if they were...
  8. With regard to your first point. My box of Blue Diamond Almond nut thins already does what I think other companies should do. "gluten-free"is legally defined as <20 ppm. OK. My Nut-thins say "Wheat and gluten-free" on the front. Under the ingredients it says "Produced in a facility that also makes products containing wheat, soy, pecans and hazlenuts...
  9. And they double as a flotation device in the event of a water landing.
  10. We would need clear-cut enforcement of the 'truth in labeling' laws... Sorry about the stickie stuff Bev. I got a rash from whatever it was they scrubbed me down with, and since I have psoriasis, I now have scaly shiny patches all over my abdomen . Am trying to treat by spending time lying in the sun . Dunno if it's helping, but I'm enjoying...
  11. I think so. If a company routinely checks it's product, and it is routinely less than, say 10 ppm, they should be able to state <10 ppm on their packaging. If the product is made using naturally gluten-free foods, they should be allowed to put that on the label if they choose -with or without testing. Shared facilities should be stated (as...
  12. I'm not saying 'zero', I'm saying label it what it is, even if it's "made from naturally gluten free materials in a shared facility". I just want to know what I'm buying.
  13. Would those be for you or for Landen?
  14. Totally. The funniest thing ever in our paper was the guy arrested for driving under the influence of chicken, and that pales next to the sausage whacker in his boxer shorts
  15. Gads you live in a dangerous place. Sooze, be certain to lock the pantry before you go to bed tonight
  16. Did they happen to mention which spices? Were they appropriate for the sausage? Or was it more of a dessert rub?
  17. And how is it you expect us to believe you only had coffee? :thatMomlook:
  18. Other than feeling like I was hit across the abdomen with a baseball bat, I feel great. I was surprised how long it took for the last effects of the anesthesia to wear off (a couple weeks), but now that my brain works again, I'm less tired than I was before the surgery. I try to walk three times a day, working my way up to a couple miles each time,...
  19. It's a beautiful morning here. Went for a long walk down the hill, past the alpaca ranch where they all looked up at me in consternation -why was I disturbing their rest and was I going to feed them? Then along the water front, mostly blocked by overpriced, humongoid houses, but still enough spaces to see the water and the sunrise. Up the hill on the other...
  20. I have been reading it, but you're right - had the bed been filled with say, skittles, undoubtedly it would be a lot more controversial (not to mention sticky).
  21. Carla, thanks for posting this. My parents and my brother have these beds. My brother no longer uses his and I've been trying to convince my parents that they need to check theirs. My mom's been having trouble breathing lately and I suggested the possibility that the bed may be an issue. Hopefully they'll check it.
