  1. I cannot believe this! Did they have any other reason for taking your children away? Any prior history? It is just unbelievable but yet believable that this could happen. I would be sick without my babies! That is neglect by the justice system. Can you get the the positive blood test and show them, maybe get some documented research together along...
  2. Jenn, Before I discovered my gluten intolerance, I was having wierd muscle twitches. The muscle below my eye has twitched on and off for 2 months. I thought it was a mineral depletion, and was taking all these minerals to help it. Once I went gluten free, the muscle twitches stopped. Now when I get glutened, I get some wierd muscle twitches all over...
  3. You can order it online. However, you may want to research the ingredients. I just took some before bed and I am itchy! This is the first time I have noticed this. Sorry took so long, didn't know you had responded to my post.
  4. I do not know the difference between being celiac or gluten intolerant. Therefore I cannot answer that, however, sounds like you are definately on the right path! Can anyone clarify the difference?
  5. Yes, thats me right now. Especially when I have eaten something, I get so cold like I have a fever. Its very wierd.
  6. I appreciate this board soooooo much! It has been so helpful. I have invited my mom and husband to visit the board and also do some research on the subject before they send me off the the insane asyllum. They use the old excuse "you can believe anything on the internet" or "you can look up anything on the internet and believe its you". I know this...
  7. I am trying as hard as I can to be. Although yesterday I made the mistake of eating grilled chicken on a glutened grill. I didn't even think about it. I have felt pretty good today. Its good to know others have felt the same, although I don't wish it upon anyone. I was on paxil for a while and it only made me feel MORE anxiety. I think they just want...
  8. I had them as well after my second pregnancy and witch hazel did the trick!!!!
  9. I am going Thursday for accupuncture (my first time). My friend told me it helps with allergies. I am willing to try anything at this point. Anyone try this?
  10. I just don't understand why people have such a hard time with this. They think I am crazy and need to be on paxil. I have had a couple of anxiety attacks in the past and now I am "labeled". Well, I know I am not feeling anxiety when I eat something and get all kinds of wierd symptoms. I am fine if I don't eat. But can't do that. Not only Dr's but my...
  11. Well, it must have been the grill. The grill was used for marinated things in the past and I just didn't think about that!!! Thanks for your suggestions and comments. Hope olive oil is safe. I pan seared some turkey tenderloin breast this morning. Last night since I was up late with the jitters from that chicken, I found a website that is based here...
  12. Someone please help! I don't know what I am eating. My husband grilled some chicken and used some herbs from the garden, salt & pepper and olive oil. Fresh green beans from the garden cooked with potatos and chicken broth (Pacific Foods), Steamed spinach with a drizzle of olive oil. Today for lunch I ate this and 2 hours later had reaction. So tonight...
  13. Has anyone ever noticed a correlation between meat from animals that eat grains? I was just wondering because when I went wheat free, I would only eat grass fed cow. Cows are not supposed to gorge on grains like the cow owners think. Their bodies are meant to eat grass, therefore producing a much healthier piece of meat that has much higher omega 3-6-...
  14. Magnelevures is a very good magnesium supplement that is very absorbable. I have to take it because I get low potassium too. And my eye won't stop twitching.
  15. I am pretty sure something made me have a reaction there. I ordered the lettuce wraps and used the sauce that they make up. I thought it was something in the sauce, but not sure. I didn't know you could order gluten free at the time.
  16. It sounds like your adrenal glands. My symptoms are very similar to those, lightheaded, dizzy, hot and cold flashes, very weak, kidneys hurt, etc. I racked my brain trying to figure out what was wrong with me. I went to the urgent care to have my blood sugar checked (thought I put myself into some kind of diabetic state) and my kidneys/bladder checked...
  17. Its a very strange thing. I think I have had so much happen and so many unexplainable symptoms, that family start to think I am a hypochondriac. I have searched so hard for a while and finally found the solution. I know what happens to my body but friends and family and Dr.'s always say its "stress related". Well it is freakin' stressful to have wierd...
  18. Have you tried doing a yeast cleanse? I also had yeast issues, but after the yeast cleanse it cleared. Also a good proibotic helps with yeast and intestinal problems. It helps put back the naturally occuring bacteria found in everyone's intestines. When your body is out of whack, say yeast or diahreah, the proibotic restores the balance.
  19. Has anyone had trouble convincing their spouse that they needed to be gluten free? Mine gives me such a hard time! I feel like I need the test results to prove myself! Still waiting on those blood test.
  20. Thanks for all the recommendations. I will check it out. I ordered Dangerous Grains yesterday from Amazon. I need to now get a cookbook. It seems like an easy solution when your going through so much! Some poeple think its hard, but I would rather be well without gluten than sick with it!
  21. I know what you mean. I almost feel like I have to prove this self-diagnosis (through dietary changes) that I am gluten intolerant. It's like they don't believe me - its harder for them to accept than me. Find a new Dr.! Can't you just go see an allergist and order the blood test for your daughter? Or order the enterolab test.
  22. Something about hospitals. They are there to heal, but they have the worst nutrition on the planet!!! I don't get it.
  23. 'I have thought about it. I like him a lot for the most part. I do not believe there are any I would be happy with. He is the best I have had so far. I take my son to see a Natureopathic doctor for everything else besides sick visits and well checks-anything nutritional. The only thing is insurance does not cover that.
  24. Hello, I am new to this and just recently discovered (not diagnosed) that I am wheat/gluten allergic. Don't know the difference yet between gluten and wheat - just avoid it all. Anyway, my son Aiden who is 2, I think may be allergic as well. He poops too much and its always runny and very smelly. He is small for his age and very low on the growth charts...
  25. I think gluten free asap is the way to go. He has the symptoms. Also, get his minerals checked. Try and find a good natureopathic dr in your area. They are more versed, it seems, on celiac and treating the "whole" person not just a symptom. They can help you decide which vitamins and minerals are needed and in what amounts and teach how fast they are...
