  1. Ok, seeing a dr. Thursday and will talk to him about the lyme. Is it the CD57 test I need to make sure he does? at this point I don't know if he will use igenex, and I will ask for that one, but just in case.....
  2. OMG! I think I just found a dr! The lady on lymenet that told me about that other dr that didn't sound good to me sent me this info. It's an MD that is "integrated" and treats metals, lyme & co-infections, ect. He can do iv chelation, labs, all that! I went on his website and it felt much more my style.....Anyway, I have an appointment on THURSDAY...
  3. How in the world am I ever going to rid my body of metals if I can't deal with detoxing? I am just not sure where to go now??? or what to do? Everytime I try and detox something gets all wappy jawed inside and it just doesn't work. If metals are the root cause and I can't get rid of them.....then what? UGH! I am frustrated!
  4. your right Carla. I am going to call the office tomorrow and ask some questions and get a feel for it. I don't know why but I have been putting this off!! I think about how I need to call and make the appt but I have a "mental block" about it. Crazy huh!
  5. I just got a PM on lymenet about Dr. J that I was thinking about seeing. She said he does not do herbs and wants you on iv abx at $6k to $12K per month. She also said he hasn't returned her calls or responded to emails and forgot to fill her rx for bactrim. He's not sounding good..... And I don't think its my liver that is bothering me. I think its...
  6. I didn't have it done. Someone on Yeast Connection Forum had it done and really had good results knowing exactly what she was dealing with. I wish now that I had done something like that. I feel like I am grasping at straws sometimes. I think Genova Diagnostics does those type tests as well. My ND would be able to order either.
  7. Interesting.....I can't seem to process alcohol anymore. I never could easily but lately its much much worse. And it can make me VERY sick if I drink too much. More than most.
  8. I think its important to keep in mind how our bodies are going IN to pregnancy. If I had to do it all over again, I would have gone through some type of Pre-pregnancy protocol that included chelation and mineral building. If you don't have amalgams I doubt that much mercury is being passed through breastmilk considering it gets stored away so quickly...
  9. OMG I just tried that Ionic Magnesium and It tastes HORRIBLE!!! I don't know how to mask it either. YUCK!
  10. What kinds of supplements or other ways does everyone do for liver support? Anyone ever have pain in the liver area?
  11. I agree....I think giving kids and baby's cow dairy formula's and milk can be just as debilitating to the immune system. ONe of the main causes of ear infections and asthma for kids nowadays. I wish I would have known then what I know now...I would have cut a LOT of things out of my diet while breastfeeding.
  12. The charcoal would be good for candida die off as it porduces many toxins. Be sure you take it about 2 hours away from any other meds or supplements. It will absorb those as well. I usually mix mine in with my fiber and take it before bed. But if you are having issues mid-day you can take it then too.
  13. Sounds like the store causes chemical stress. Could be her main problem was coming from in the first place. And if she worked there during pregnancy then that would affect the baby. Sounds like her liver was impaired during pregnancy and toxins built up in the system. This is passed on to the baby. This could definately be affecting her. And...
  14. Thats from www.askshelley.com go to faq. I want to do a colonic too, but I'm like you!!!
  15. Found this...wonder if this is why you reacted. The aluminum???
  16. Julie, I bought the plain old apple pectin fiber today. I just can't get a hold on the "c" problem! Even if I take fiber at night. So I am trying this without the psyllium to see if it helps. It does say to take 1/4 tsp 1 to 3 times per day. Do you find it working for you? Anyone, I bought some ionic Magnesium Liquid Drops. Does anyone...
  17. Catesfolly, I read that recently about the Caproil. I had seen that also talked about here Open Original Shared Link I could not find the liquid caprylic acid in my HFS and I had already bought the capsules. I dumped open the capsules and mixed them in with fiber and activated charcoal and tried to replicate it this way. I am sure that its not the...
  18. No matter which one you decide you have to feel it out and decide whats best for your body because everyone is different with different food intolerances. I used the www.wholeapproach.com/diet as a rule of thumb. I didn't do any fruit at first. But when you are feeling a bit better, you can add in low sugar like blueberries, strawberries and rasberries...
  19. Yeah, I tried that and it didn't work for me either! It was a big glob and then it wouldn't really dissolve at all.
  20. Florence, I tried to chelate on my own without really knowing what I was doing. I didn't have all my bases covered. I didn't even know about activated charcoal which would have really helped me. I ate cilantro for 5 days straight and I believe it moved metals and all of a sudden I was very messed up. My head felt very heavy, I could hardly walk, Everything...
  21. I have been on the anti-candida diet for over a year now. Lately I have fallen off the bandwagon and I know I need to get back on. I have been rotating antifungals with probiotics for a long time now. The rule of thumb is to switch it up so the yeast don't become immune to your antifungal. I do pau d'arco tea, caprylic acid, coconut oil and milk, garlic...

  23. Something wierd happened to me today. I was sitting at my desk eating my homemade turkey meatball soup and I sort of moved my eyes or something and I all of a sudden got REAL dizzy but in a wierd way. Almost like something happened. A reaction of some sort. Nothing was in the soup that I dont' normally eat. But anyway, I sort of felt like a "buzzing...
  24. Not sure on the vitamin C... I usually take 1000 mg 2x per day. You can take more when herxing. You can take 1 every hour until your stool is loose, then cut back. Also, stevia is a good substitute if you do want your lemon water a little sweet. Sometimes I get carbonated mineral water and mix a little lime and stevia. My daughter says it tastes...
  25. No sign of big head syndrome yet, but if it does happen this time around, I may just quit. Like Rachel said, it may not agree with me. OR it could be producing so many toxins, my liver is having a hard time dealing. Either way, I don't need to stress my body so much. Little at the time is better for me! I took it earlier tonight instead of right before...
