Then I do this one: carrot beet ginger garlic For the kids: carrot apple slice of beet Also, when I steam brocolli, I keep...

Thought i would post the results of my recent testing and the dr visit today. I don't know if I am more confused or less DMSA challenge Urinalysis 12 hour: Only metals above reference range were Lead, Mercury and Bismuth. Does this mean some of my attempts at detox actually worked? Who knows since i was never tested before. BUT I had to have... -

I would like to see about the YES supplements.....YES! -
Yeah, that is creepy!!! Psipina, Have you tried Tamari? The wheat free version of soy sauce? That is what I use in place. It's good! Sounds like a lot of cascading events leading up to this.....hope you get it figured out and resolved. One day look into having those fillings removed. That is exposing you to mercury on a daily basis. That might...

RPM, What else would you drink if you didn't drink water? You have got to have water.... Are you drinking tap water or filtered water? Does the radioactive dye have iodine? I haven't heard of that, but I have heard of those dyes depleting iodine in your body. I take Lugol's iodine every now and then to replenish iodine stores since I don't eat a... -

Try and drink smaller amounts all throughout the day. You can only absorb so much at one time and if you drink too much too fast you flush out needed minerals. I would definately keep drinking with or without the lemon. Sounds like you have a lot of toxins circulating around. Lyme makes it hard to detox properly. Sounds like your liver/gallbladder... -
psipsina, Wow, you are studying to be a surgeon. And it's great you have found that there are a lot of illnesses that are healed through alternative measures. What a great knowledge you will have to pass on to your patients. Just too bad that you have had to go through this much to learn it. I agree with you that sometimes mainstream medical does...

Good to know that ginger calms inflammation, Moldlady. I think I am having some inflammatory responses in my liver/ gallbladder area. I think I'll try that. I always have fresh ginger root on hand for cooking. I can boil it to make my tea. adrian, I agree with Moldlady. You can get rid of fungus. The only bacteria I have heard that can stick... -
Moldlady, I want to go towards more plant based but I have a hard time staying full without a protein at every meal. I do eat way more veggies at each meal and only a smigen of meat. Plus I need cooking ideas. Hey, maybe i'll get a book from the library on vegetarian cooking! psipsina, Sorry about all of that surgery! Gosh that sounds...

RPM, Sorry you are going through all of this. Have you found any foods that you don't react to? If so, eat those foods only and see how you do. Although its hard to say what is going on through the computer, but lots of peeing might actually be a good thing for you. Maybe you are finally flushing something out. Are you drinking large glasses of... -

Jin, Some people do well on the Braggs Org. Apple Cider Vinegar because it has naturally occuring probiotics in there. Some do not tolerate it, but if you were to test any kind of vinegar on the yeast diet, this would be the one. I have been drinking 1 tsp in a full glass of water on empty stomach in the morning. I am hoping this will help the gallbladder... -

I just got the PITA thing!! That took me a while! Carla, I can hardly jump on the trampoline without having the same problem. I have had 2 babies so if I had had 3 more, well, you might as well just take my bladder out at that point!! Julie, I hope you figure out this connection. That angioedema sounds very scary! The problem is there is you won't know if the baby will tolerate the formula's out there. They are all made from soy, or milk. My son didn't even tolerate the very expensive hypoallergenic kinds because he didn't tolerate dairy or soy in any form. Plus one of the ingredients was corn syrup and he doesn't tolerate corn. So when I did decide to wean him... -
ARCHIVED Guess I'll Have Gallbladder Problems Forever
aprilh replied to num1habsfan's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
In some cases a gallbladder cleanse will correct gallbladder stones and help flush stuck stones. A lot of people have gallstones that are never a problem. Removing the gallbladder is unnessecarily removed in a lot of cases and this should be a last resort. I have recently been having some pains in that area so I am drinking green apple juice (fresh made... -

I like the pizza recipe too. Another good mix is Anna's bread mix. I get gluten-free, SF, CF, DF mix. You can use the bread machine or do it by hand. Both ways are easy although I haven't always had good luck with my bread maker. My kids LOVE the Anna's banana bread mix. www.123glutenfree.com has the best brownie and cake mixes EVER!!! I started... -

Its pretty safe to take diflucan for 2 months you would just need to make sure your MD or ND monitors your liver enzymes. I have had success with taking herbal antifungals and have been on and off for a year now - treating a systemic candida infection. I also do that with the anti-candida diet. Herbs like Oregano Oil and Olive Leaf are very strong... -

Maybe you could write to his parents and explain the food connection?? They may be open or may not, but at least you tried, right? Its so sad that these kids aren't being given every chance to be well, whether that is by going gluten and dairy free, or looking into chelation, ect. The mainstream medical does not talk about advice about this connection.... -

RPM, It was me who said detoxing without proper measures did make me worse. And what I meant by that is that I tried to detox without really knowing about the different steps you must take before and during detoxing. I started trying to chelate metals with cilantro BEFORE I got all my other measures in place. So, it loosened up the garbage just to... -
I do think its somewhat restrictive but I really think it encourages me to eat better - more veggies and a "cleaner" diet. I have healed leaky gut once already and don't think I have gotten that bad again - although not sure. I take L-Glutamine on a daily basis. Bacon? was that for someone else? I don't normally eat bacon. Although the occasional...

Olive Leaf is antifungal as well as the oregano oil. Astragalus is for the immune system and Buhner recommended that in one of his books. I don't do mushrooms since they are a fungus and will feed fungus, so not sure why they would be in there? -
I am back to a strict diet again! I let it go for a while now (knowing I shouldn't) and my yeast problem has gotten bad again. I have been having the prickly itchiness and food reactions, bags under my eyes are worse and so on. SO - back to square one! I am taking 2 drops 2 x per day of oregano oil under the tongue, 8 drops of iodine in the...
