What kind of mold toxicity testing did you do? This may be something I need to do.
-
Its one of those soft bristle brushes. They are in the health food store and even in Walgreens or Walmart. They are near the loofah's and other bath type stuff. I got the big one so I could cover more skin at one time. Glad you are feeling better now!

I got my blood taken today for the lyme tests. They send off to igenex. I asked the lady what testing they do but I didn't know what I was talking about to be specific. The testing was $400 but someone said that probably didn't include ??? I guess I'll know more when it comes back. Does anyone have an idea how long for igenex to return the results...

When I was feeling particularly bad, I did it twice a day. I now do it before showering. That reminds me, I could bumpt that up a bit - its not like i am feeling great or anything.

I think the potatoes in the stew along with the alcohol probably was just too much too soon. I would drink more lemon water and take an epsom bath. Anything to help take stress off the liver is helpful. Did you feel tired, groggy, and weak? What were your symptoms?

Paula, I have read that vodka was okay as well, but some other sites I frequent say NO because of the mycotoxins that alcohol produces in processing. I don't know enough to repeat it, but basically, alcohol is a fermented product and basically has mycotoxins and is hard on the liver. I wish I could find the info. If I do, I will post. Maybe some...

Here is what I take for the liver. This REALLY helped me not be so sensitive to things. I still react and have had to watch what toxins I come in contact with but, as far as herbs and supplements it helped tremendously. B12 shot (in the ND's office) Activated B6 (p5p50) Glycine Molybdenum NAC L-Glutamine Be sure to take them together. The b...

Well, initially the dark circles did get better by taking out goats milk and he doesn't go straight to an ear infection when he gets a cold. But I have found that the dark circles come and go now. I guess thats better than them being persistent. I think they will be there until I get the toxins out. So that will be my focus. Thats good to know... -

On her website she says she has a "fun program" for kids so they won't be scared. I think she starts out very slow with them. I am going to call today to check it out. Do you find that you have trouble moving out the toxins that it releases? That is my only concern. -

Yes, it is very sad about Sandi. She was always very nice and taught me a lot about metals. Rachel, I don't know if you made anyone mad. I always looked forward to your posts because they were always very imformative! I learned a lot about metals, lyme, hypercoagulation, ect! My son got sick one time and i could see all the veins in his body (he... -

Julie, DMSA Challenge went well. I would not want to be taking that stuff everyday. I think it would pose problems for me so I am glad its through. And after my last trip to the bathroom at the end of it, I took 2 activated charcoals. I think that helped. Today, I touched up some paint on my desktop and noticed I reacted to the paint. ... -
ARCHIVED Wheat And Corn Allergy!
aprilh replied to wellsfamily's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Wellsfamily, I know this is an old post but no one else responded. Gluten free products do contain corn in a lot of cases. We are gluten-free, CF, SF and DF. And the ones I have found that I enjoy are Sami's bakery millet and flax bread. You might be able to get your healthfood store to carry this. Also, Anna's bread mix is very good. I just... -
Kim, I have read that this is a sign that the liver is working overtime. Try reading here www.liverdoctor.com. A little liver support and you might be back on track. Fresh lemon water in the morning on an empty stomach helps cleanse the liver and kidneys. Dry skin brushing and detox baths with epsom salts or sauna all take the heat off the...

aprilh replied to jasmineflower's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
I had leaky gut and yes leaky gut can lead to tons of wierd food allergies/sensitivities. I was basically reacting to "everything!". I had leaky gut due to candida overgrowth. ARCHIVED Hypoglycemia + Elimination Diet = ?
aprilh replied to Sweetfudge's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
I used to have hypoglycemia really bad. After treating candida yeast i found it to be almost cured. Also, i have read that hypoglycemia can be a sign of liver dysfunction. www.liverdoctor.com Yeast, toxins, lyme, mold, food allergies, ect all put a burden on the liver so it makes sense. When I did have it I had to have protein at every meal. ... -
I have had this test through Genova. I started to become VERY sensitive to herbs and supplements and my ND said this is usually a sign of the liver not detoxing properly. So the Genova test showed my Phase II liver detox pathways were not functioning properly. I take specific supplements for this. I can post the list if you like? I find them to be very...

ARCHIVED Can Anyone Recommend Good Cf Subs For These Foods?
aprilh replied to cruelshoes's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Here is a good site www.pecanbread.com. Almost all corn is now GMO (genetically modified) and high in mold. This can have an affect on the brain. There is a very good thread here if you want to read more about it. Open Original Shared Link and here Open Original Shared Link My kids and I are CF (99%), gluten-free, DF, and SF. I do give my kids... -
Paula & Catesfolly, That is such great news! I am so excited to hear! Catesfolly, Wonder what was in the sushi that had your heart racing. I once had a reaction to fish that got my heart racing - I believe it was from metals in the fish. My hubby has a friend was a seafood broker. He would give us TONS of free fish. The drawback is...

ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something
aprilh replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
The B12 is good for the liver detox pathways. That and b6 and some others. That is all what my ND recommended for mine since they are sluggish. That might be why its good for people with lyme. -
ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something
aprilh replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Kassandra, Ambien has made me feel that way. Drunk feeling within 5 minutes of taking it. I didn't get the heart racing and the breathing issues though - that is scary! Anytime I get breathing issues I get freaked. Maybe try 1/2 tablet next time. I used to split my tablets up into 3 and 4's. I can't remember the mg but I think it was... -

aprilh replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Sherry, Thanks for posting that info! I am going to find someone here. I think I would benefit from that. That lady's neck in the video - looked like it hurt! She said it didn't. I bet I'll be RED all over I am so toxic. April -
I read on whole approach that the pill form of caprylic acid is hard on the liver. And yeast toxins are hard on the liver, so the combo might be too much for your body to handle. A sluggish liver can cause nausea. Yea, I agree, take it in small stages. You gotta be able to get rid of the die off toxins. I take apple pectin fiber and activated charcoal...
