  1. Hi Tamed, I have been where you are! Not sure that any gluten in Monistat will hurt you since it is not entering the gut area. ?? You could try a probiotic d%$#@#$. I have done that along with probiotic supplementation. Normally I would probably do antifungals during the day and supplement with probiotics at night before bed. Try to get a good...
  2. Here is some info on dry skin brushing Open Original Shared Link Its a pretty easy thing to do at home. You can get these brushes at the health food store. Juicing - I use a juicer but you can make a green drink in the blender. I saw Dr. Oz do it on the Oprah show. He took Spinach leaves celery green apple (may need to omit due to your high...
  3. Scotty, I wouldn't drink any dairy at all right now including goat. It just too mucous forming and your body's lymph system is probably already overwhelmed. Here is what worked for me: Daily - dry skin brushing at least 2 x per day Detox baths daily when dealing with die off activated charcoal at night before bed (when dealing with die off)...
  4. I have got to get some of this EM makeup. Sounds like a good thing Is there a website?
  5. Good Info Moldlady! Scotty, Sounds like you have a bad case of systemic candida among other things and the fruit that you ate fed the yeast. Instead of being an actual reaction to fruit, the sugars in the fruit fed the yeast creating the negative response you got. I have had that happen before as well. My candida had become a *systemic* infection...
  6. I am good about winging it. And I like to make soups - just never used bones in there. What would you use for beef bones??? What kind of beef?
  7. Sherry, Anyway you can get an R/O filter for your home in China? This is the best way to remove contaminants and metals from the water. I guess food could still be an issue there since it would be grown in soil possibly contaminated. Lead is very specific though. In the soil it can be in one spot and 1 foot away that be clean. April
  8. I have my appointment with the LLMD Thursday to go over my Igenex results. I plan on getting her tested too. This leg pain is just too wierd. Tonight I took her to my acupuncturist and she did shonishin. A Japanese style acupuncture for kids. No needles. She really enjoyed it. The acupuncturist said her kidney's chi was sluggish and she thinks this...
  9. Scotty, When you tried the candida diet did you avoid carbs, sugar, and high sugar fruits and foods that feed the candida? I cannot tell from your post. When you were diagnosed with thrush in spring of 07, what were you treated with? Did the ND help you with that? COuld be that the high sulphur foods like garlic and onions irritate your gut because...
  10. Well, my period was not nearly as bad as last month since I have been doing the acupuncture. But last night (the day I started) i couldn't sleep a wink! And everytime I would go to sleep I would have a nightmare! Then I would force myself awake just to go back to sleep to a different nightmare! I am SOO tired today. But I am thankful because last...
  11. Certain meds can render the probiotics inaffective. I usually take mine at night before bed. The probiotics do best at night. They have a better chance of implantation during that time. Empty stomach is okay or maybe with a small snack.
  12. Could it be a herx reaction? It is a strong antifungal so if you have any amount of candida this could be the reaction you are getting.
  13. Julie, Good story! Are you still dealing with the side effects of the castor oil pack? I agree, I think its important to take it slow with those. Maybe skip a day in between or even go a few days in between. I was scared away from them after my attempt last summer, but I finally did it again last week and did okay this time! But...
  14. I have read a lot about the emotional aspect being very important part of healing and detoxing. My acupuncturist the other day asked me if I had been having anxiety (she can sense these things). I had had a terrible week of arguing with my hubby and my child being sick, leg pain and all that. Good topic! So the lyme symptoms are strange, huh...
  15. Guess what? My daughter is feeling much better today and the leg pain has mysteriously dissappeared, for now. Too wierd........If it was iron I don't think it would go away so fast.
  16. digmom, I have a milk/dairy intolerance. I wouldn't know the difference in why you would be having issues with milk and not cheese....??? I can tolerate some dairy in general but I try to avoid it because it clogs my already overworked lymphatic system and makes my digestion sluggish. April
  17. I got gua sha (ms?) done today at my acupuncture appointment. This is really helping with my symptoms! I am so excited about that. She says my liver and spleed are stressed and my digestion is slow and needs "heating". She can pinpoint my symptoms just by looking at points on my body. I guess they look off. She also did some kind of "roller" thing...
  18. Moldlady, That's good that you are noticing some improvement being gluten free. I noticed early on that gluten really caused me a lot of trouble. Now, I can tolerate it more, but try to eat mostly gluten free. I have read somewhere that mercury damages the enzymes necessary to digest gluten. So, since you still have some fillings, this may be the...
  19. Do any of your LLMD's do phone consults? There are really none around here that I have found, but I thought maybe if I could fax over all my test results maybe I could do a phone consult. Carla, I think you mentioned a Dr J - pediatrician LLMD? Did I read that right?
  20. I guess she could be having some malabsorption issues, but she has been gluten free, dairy free (except very occasionally) for over a year now. No real intestinal issues except some stinky gas sometimes. Her enterolab results showed gluten antibodies but that we went gluten free after that. Wonder what your llmd will say about the relationship. ...
  21. What does a lyme flare feel like? I am wondering if my daughters leg pain could be this? Does it come on with viruses? For instance, recently her leg pain and virus all happened at the same time. Now that the virus is gone the leg pain is lingering. We got some bloodwork drawn today to check her iron stores, ferritin, ect. Kassandra, Is your...
  22. Thanks Carla, I will check those 2 avenues out. Sherry - totally know what you mean....in a different way ( I am not on abx, but I have the ups and downs).
  23. Kassandra, Is your anemia from Lyme? Or have they made that connection? Julie, Hope more detox baths will help. That was very interesting about the castor oil. I didn't know that it worked that way. I am going to read the whole article in a minute. Everyone, What is the best way to research my igenex test results. I have...
  24. That is great Paula! What a great attitude. Your body can really adjust to eating healthy. I occasionally use stevia and xylitol.....but not everyday. I thought xylitol was antifungal.
  25. Julie, Maybe take a break from the castor oil packs until you get the breakout under control. I think I'll start slow. Maybe do it every other day or so until I see what happens. Can you take activated charcoal to help absorb? Hope the bath helps..... April Looks like I can bump up my magnesium if i need to. Everyone takes way more than...
