It's a half-baked idea I have floating around in my head so I'm open to suggestion.

I'm a pretty good cook. Not professionally trained or anything, but I love cooking for people, surfing epicurious.com for new recipes and watching the food network. I'm single and I live alone so when I do cook for myself, it's no fun....and none of my non-celiac friends are really running over to try my gluten-free matzo ball soup.

So I'm thinking, what if some of us got together and had a dinner party. Those of us who know how to cook will do most of the cooking. Those of us who either don't like to cook or don't know how can do other tasks like washing lettuce, trimming green beans, doing dishes or food shopping. Anyone who wants to learn how to cook could observe and help out. Maybe someone could "administrate": determine a budget, find a location etc. There's got to be a community center or something that could let us use their kitchen and dining room.

Or failing that, a pot luck supper at someone's apartment: everyone who cooks brings something and those of us who don't cook can bring wine or baked goods from Risotteria or Babycakes.

Any ideas? Anyone interested?

      Constant low back, abdominal and pelvic pain!

      I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

      My daughter has celiac disease and has had for a long time. She fell loses strictly gluten-free diet and recently got rid of all cutting boards in any gluten in her house at all. She just had a stool test and it came back showing of gigantic response to gluten in her diet. What could be going on since she doesn't eat any gluten and is very careful about any...
