How long am I considered "new" and need to go thru moderator approval?

After those Moderator approved post, you can still post.  I have heard more than one thinking they only have a certain number of posts left.  There are many questions to be asked and support to offer.

Yes, once you have made a few posts you will be able to post instantly, and often if you need to :)

It is worth a read of the forum rules, but as long as you stick those, post away and the good folks here will help if they can

I passed the threshold of ten posts this morning and am now able to post without moderator approval.  I think once you pass 10, those warnings and notices you see will go away.
