I am going to be canning some Salsa tomorrow it calls for Tomato Sauce and Tomato paste. Is Tomato paste and Sauce Gluten free? If not I won't even go get any!! I will just get plain. Is there any brand I should steer clear of? Anyone?

Tomato paste is gluten-free. Tomato sauce may or may not contain gluten. Read the ingredients to see.

I have seen Contadina tomato paste with flavors that had wheat added. very odd. Let me see if I can find the ingredients on line. Plain tomato paste is gluten free - but as usual, read the ingredients.

Thank you I will steer clear of any seasoned ones. I will of course read the labels. I just figured, if there are none out there I won't bother going to the store this morning. TY for you quick response!! :)

I use this to cross reference all of my grocery purchases.  Almost everything that I can have in a grocery store will be listed by product and brand in this guide.  Very useful.  The Mayo Clinic dietician recommended it to me and its amazing.

      Thanks for your input.

If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly flareups.

No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done recently?

Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
