Hand Itching

I was diagnosed several years ago and recently I began to have episodes of my hands itching for no reason that I could detect. The only thing that stops it is to take a Benedril. Has anyone else experienced this? It's driving me crazy.

Sounds like it might be an allergic reaction to something? Have you been touching or eating anything different since it started? Like an in season fruit? Maybe pollen in the air? The thing with allergies is, even if you weren't allergic last year, seems like you could be this year. Have you been gardening and might have gotten some poison ivy or "itch weed" on your hands? Just brainstorming here.....

I get this sometimes, but the episodes only last 5 minutes or so.  Just my palms.  Can't really connect them to anything, but it's weird.

      If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly...

      No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

      Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done...

      Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
