I was not celiac, but decided to go gluten free 4 months ago.  Gluten never bothered me before.  Two hours ago I ate gluten for the first time (hamburger bun).  I now feel weak, dizzy, and nauseous.  I feel like I was drunk and am now very sick.  Is there any way to help with this or make this go away?  How long until this ends?  Sorry if this is in the wrong section.  Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Time.  Drink water, eat comfort foods and baby yourself.  How long?  Everyone is different.  Some take a few days, weeks or months.  Yes, months!  So, If you think you have celiac disease you need to avoid gluten which sets off an autoimmune reaction.  It is too late to get tested easily.  You would have to do a gluten challenge (eat gluten daily for 8 to 12 weeks).  But it is something to research and consider.

Why did you go gluten free?  It sounds like you have a problem with it based on your recent symptoms.

Homemade chicken or beef broth is soothing and provides you with some vitamins and minerals.

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
