What are you trying to say?  that they contain gluten?  Why would you say that?

They made me seriously ill.  Obviously I don't have any laboratory test results to substantiate a claim as to the gluten content.  I just wanted to warn others of my personal experience.

Can you call the company and tell them of your experience so the product can be looked into properly?  (the batch number code from the box will be needed to track down any issue)

I remember when I was new to the diet a bottle of vanilla was making me sick.  I cross contaminated it before I went gluten free -the product was gluten free.  I was able to track down the vanilla as the problem from keeping a detailed food journal.

I already contacted the company.  Their lack of response is what prompted me to create a profile and post reviews on every website I could think of.  I also reported it to the FDA.  I am not new to the diet and am extremely carefully about cross-contamination.  The crackers were the only thing I had eaten (I ate them plain), the box was unopened, and I washed my hands beforehand.  Also, it wasn't a few mysterious symptoms, this was a serious reaction.   Like it said, I have no proof as to the gluten content of these crackers, I just wanted to warn people because I wish someone had warned me.  You're welcome.

Welcome to the forum, @yellowstone! The most common ones seem to be dairy (casein), oats, eggs, soy and corn. "Formed" meat products (because of the "meat glue" used to hold their shape) is a problem for some. But it can be almost anything on an individual basis as your sensitivity to rice proves, since rice is uncommonly a "cross reactor" for celiacs. Some celiacs seem to not do well with any cereal grains.

What foods can trigger a response in people with gluten sensitivity? I've read that there are foods that, although they don't contain gluten, can cause problems for people with gluten sensitivity because they contain proteins similar to gluten that trigger a response in the body. I've seen that other cereals are included: corn, rice... also chicken, casein. I would like to know what other foods can cause this reaction, and if you have more information on the subject, I would like to know about it. Right now, I react very badly to rice and corn. Thank you.
