I get back pain from gluten and I noticed it return during my challenge.

Gaining weight I would suggest a diet higher in fats from coconut, almonds, avocado, and plenty of eggs/egg whites, I also have found taking BCAAs and scoops off protein powder before bed helps to maintain weight (Just protein blends no rice solids, etc. I use a blend of Growing Naturals Pea, and Jarrow rice, with pumpkin seed protein before bed). I personally suggest pumpkin seed protein alot due to the high zinc and magnesium content with the balanced fats, protein, and amino acide complex help with muscle recovery and stress on the body.  Other blends I take are Nutrakey V-Pro and MRM Veggie Elite mixed into shakes that I use during the day mixed with a unsweetened coconut yogurt, almond butter, and almond milk.

I have recently found a celiac meal replacement shake by pioneer labs. Since I started taking it daily I have gained 4lbs. It is well balanced with just the derived vitamins and minerals you need without all the powdered veggies/fruits that can trigger issues if you have intolerance/allergies to them (This is a huge reason why most meal replacement shakes bother me) I use in it my daily shake and have a few tbsp of it with each meal, blending  it in with egg whites, nut butters, coconut, and almond milk in the mornings for omelettes or egg dishes to get more balance.

I also found Nutritional Yeast to help alot and have 2-4tbsp of it with each meal, it is a inactive yeast that is safe even for people with reactions to yeast in other products I have found. Nice cheesy nutty flavor.

If you can not have fruits I also suggest a vitamin C supplement along with the others, perhaps a vitamin K also.

I will show you what I consume and take daily, perhaps look it over see what you might discuss with your dietician about.

These ear issues are interesting! I, too have had ear problems all my life. I was told in 1996 I had Meniere's disease, which I don't. Very bad Tinnitis in my right ear, like background noise 24/7. And I get random high pitched buzzing that goes away in seconds. I also had chronic sinus infections. Feb 2016 I had sinus surgery and deviated septum fixed. My symptoms worsened and I was p***** off!! I  still got ear infections, major fluid build-up, dizziness, nausea, etc etc. There's always a fullness feeling in my ears/head too. I CAN say that I haven't noticed these symptoms since eliminating G 6 weeks ago. However, I have increased joint/knee pain, breast pain, and anxiety/depression. My psych doc is increasing my antidepressant. Yay me!! I feel like it's ALWAYS something with me. My husband is starting to get sick of my negative attitude. *sigh*

Gluten made me to sick. I couldn't function. Gastro is still going to do endo and colonoscopy. He said I could have the gene test. It would not confirm celiac though. Hope your back gets better?

After waisted time of new care team, yet again EXHAUSTED saw new gi today in Modesto, though all my ailments im not getting any kind of concern of me being celiac and sentive to just about everything since menopause. Dr daid why don't I go see you guys because my blood shows zero for celiac. I told him im glutenfree since 1994 by colonoscopy with biopsy positive celiac sprue by GI.Its RIDICULOUS when im bringing in material from this site of knowledge as well as the autoimmune institute, and  there's zero interest on their part.Medical IS causing me depression.Im view as a disability chaser, IM STILL RECOVERING from being a bus driver that im still healing and having more issues, now I may have multiple sclerosis or meningioma. Ive reached out, wrote letters, NOT feeling well. This is inhumane.

I was taking medicine for sibo but it was not agreeing with my stomach at all.Was on gabapentin but it amps me up.I was taking in morning because it wasn't allowing me to sleep. This has always been an issue with medicine and me.Even going to dentist, the good shot that numbs you once, I can't take because it makes my heart beat fast and I  get the shakes.I have to take the crappy stuff and get injected always more than 4 times always. Its infuriating

I showed one doctor I went to once because completely clueless of celiac disease and yes that one was connected to a well known hospital and she said oh thats just a bunch of people that think they are celiac coming together. I said um no they have doctors and knowledge behind what is being written. So bay area is Downplaying this site! SADLY

If you successfully digest gluten with enzyme supplements so it won’t give you side effects, your challenge won’t be worthwhile because the digested fragments of gluten also won’t stimulate antibody production or cause intestinal damage.
