It has been observed that people opt for a gluten free diet despite not being diagnosed by celiac disease to perhaps improve their digestive systems.

I don't know if my husband would be labeled a gluten-free trend dieter, but I don't view him as such. He can eat gluten, but since my symptoms are so extreme we removed it and corn another intolerance entirely from the home. Including his beer he drinks Daura Damn.

My son has my issues as well that revealed themselves after we removed the items from my diet post gluten challenge. I often made one dinner free of all my intolerances and quickly the symptoms manifested when he was exposed to those foods. It showed on his skin as well.

My daughter is gluten-free in the house since we had to remove it. She has eaten it a few times this year away from home, but determined after a Halloween pizza party it is problematic. She was home sick for 3 days after utterly fatigued with headaches (two of my many symptoms) no other cold/virus symptoms. The few times before she felt a bit off but didn't want to assume gluten. This last time she said she knew. She determined the prior times it was one piece of pizza and she was a bit off just thought she was tired, this last time she consumed pizza and pretzels and knew.

One thought is maybe some may live with a celiac or NCGS loved one in a completely gluten-free household. They adhere to the diet strictly for a few months etc then for work or social event eat gluten on a night out away from home.

My husband did it a few times and actually found he prefers maintainbig gluten-free options but will eat out for work events as he does not need to worry about cc. He may partake in Mexican or Chinese food but he stated he orders gluten-free dishes like rice noodles or burrito bowls minus flour tortillas etc. His boss and coworkers now know he eats gluten-free and they all select a restaurant with gluten-free options.

He converted by default. And ironically he has had more coworker acceptance than I have in the past.

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
