I will be visiting Spain(Barcelona) , France(Nice), Italy (Portofino) just in one week . I downloaded Schar's gluten free roads app but i only want to eat in dedicated restaurants. I'll carry gluten free sandwiches , juices just in case but it would be great to hear other's tips !

Never had a problem in Spain or Italy. Dont get to france too often.  Finding a  good tapas place in Spain should mke it easy to find a dozen different small plate dishes to enjoy.  In Italy should be able to find a list online from the Italian Celiaco organization

Good luck

In Paris, there are a couple of 100% gluten-free bakeries (one is Helmut Newcake, near the Madeleine, and the other is Chambelland) and there is a wonderful restaurant called NoGlu - it's in a small pedestrian arcade called passage des Panorames, I think, and a little hard to find, but worth it for a true French meal in a dedicated facility.  If you're willing to risk it, there are a few creperies that do buckwheat crepes very well and they clean everything (at least they did for me) - one in the Marais (called Breizh) and another on the rue de Charonne - I think that one is called Crêperie Bretonne Fleurie de l'Epouse du Marin.  Other than that, I recommend buying readily available fresh fruit and vegetables.

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
