Just found this information and passing it on: Smoke Flavoring can have Barley as a “carrier”  . This is in some Lox and Smoked Salmon, and many other foods and sauces. 

SMOKE FLAVORING — Smoke Flavoring — used in many things… Lunch meat to BBQ sauces

This flavoring is derived from burning various woods, including hickory and mesquite. Barley malt flour may be used as a carrier for the captured “smoke.” Some manufacturers list the sub-ingredients of the smoke flavoring used in their products; others do not.

 

Natural Flavor: "natural flavor, natural flavoring, and flavoring" may be derived from gluten-containing grains.

Yeah found that in some other liquid smokey marinades etc.
On this note I suggest using Colgin Liquid Smoke, out of the brands I have checked it is always available in local stores and gluten free. Check the FAQ for them https://www.colgin.com/faq/#gluten

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.
